Quite confident about staying in the WT but it really depends on later part of the season. I hope Komisarek/TVG will deliver on Tour as June is... more than nonexistent for my team. I expect nothing and anything will be good, lol
Investment in Komisarek turned out to be great idea as he already scored 1k points. And Ewan 429 after basically Giro which he didn't even finish is great. I hope he can score similar amount in Vuelta so I'll have like 3 guys with 1k points at least which should be enough to stay in WT.
I already decided on my plans for future in terms of my team so I hope potential next season in WT won't be weakest in history, lol
Thanks for the update! |

Team BP is extremely happy, obviously. All three WT races went very well, we are blessed with good fortune, except maybe for Majka's Sochi TT.
Still lots of racing left, can't read too much into the current standings. BP's run is bound to fade as the season goes on, we'll try and keep it going as long as we can.

Rankings look pretty amazing, with us currently being in 10th. We've scored more than double the points of last year at this point but unfortunately the other teams in the relegation fight are also a lot better.
So the gap is only about 500 points, which will be very hard to defend I fear. Mostly because Villella has already had most of his race days and he is by far our best scorer. If we want to survive, we'll need to have a lot of luck in at least one of the GTs remaining I think, but let's see how it goes.

This is not looking good...
Giro is the worst out of our three GT lineups so hopefully we can find our way up, but Bouhanni crashing out of a few races has really hurt us.

Nairo single handedly rescuing us at this point. Pretty much every other leader underperforming expectations. Which might be a problem with them or might be a problem with the expectations.

2nd in the CT is fine and all, but that doesn't guarantee us a promotion as the Superprestige is where it will all matter and Polestar is currently 5th among the CT teams (correct me if I'm wrong)

Boasson Hagen is a CT cheat code
One position drop was expected and actually less than expected after that month. Hope we can stay consistent in June, where there should be decent scoring opportunities.
The U23s are doing fantastically well to be in 3rd, with Dimas leading the charge!
Thanks for the update Bikex.

4th, surely. Bikex has even added a ranking in the tables.

Great start in Guatemala by Dombrowski. Let's see if he can keep it up...

Andrey Amador very active in Guatemala. We are holding our own with the WT teams there, sitting close to top 25. If we keep it this way our bold venture into a WT tour race might not be that bad.
Although, Diego Ochoa seems to not pull his own for our team. Maybe, he is of great help to others, but the way I see it the last couple of races he seems to lose a lot of time on stages that appear suited to his talents. I didn't expect him to win stages, but I didn't expect this situation either. |

Stage 2 of Guatemala was the biggest disappointment of the season so far. The race can still be saved with a good performance on the tough queen stage, I hope Majka and Tao will have better legs.

Perfect day for us. Herrada winning the stage as the big favourite and even putting already significant time into his only real danger (Majka) and VDP completely off the chain, winning against Herklotz, Polanc & Co. His first classics win, too! Now let's hope Guatemala finishes up nicely (time trial doom?!) and we also have good results in Germany and Japan later on.
btw Japan, will we do a Olympic race this season?

WT really is one level too high for our second-tier climbers, so I guess if Mendes can stay inside the Top 30 that would be a success in Guatemala. Although this makes me realize that Chamorro's Tachira was really outstanding, before dropping out on the final day sitting in 9th place. So that hurts even more...

Oh, and I forgot to say that we are sitting in 7th place out of 20 participating teams in Guatemala at the halfway point. Now, that would be something. |

With Caruso crashing out of Guatemala our downfall has started immediately.
At least our old man Ponzi is still good for the occasional good result in a sprint.

Wow Dillier great job, very surprising to win a sprint against so many stronger riders! |

Surely just in anticipation to peak for the next GT

Phew, we saved that focus race. The ITT was another disappointment, but Majka made a great comeback and won the last two stages in a row. The first time the team won more than a single stage in a WT stage race, let alone two by one rider.
Sagan 8th in Luxembourg, that's fine, 18 more WC points, plus Stannard and Cuming also made the top 20 (granted, only among 48 riders).

Whilst the Queen stage deluded us barely, it is great to see Herrada taking all 3 classifications and Liberty even getting the team class thanks to some very strong performance by De La Cruz on top. Great focus race for us as well!
