Thanks! Try to copy the local.cdb into the game directory again (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2020\Database). If you have all the updates installed, you can find the latest version of the local.cdb in the files for Update 1.5.

Unfortunately still not working.
I have all the updates.
After first update PCM_Daily_DB2020 the names was correct.
When I installed PCM.daily Expansion Pack u1 the names was fake.
PCM.daily Expansion Pack u1 and PCM.daily Expansion Pack u1.5 have the same local.cdb dated on 29.08.2020 and I think there is a problem with this one file.
Now I copied local.cdb dated on 11.06.2020 from the main (first) update PCM_Daily_DB2020 and the names are back to correct.
But the big question is: can I use local.cdb dated on 11.06.2020 with all 4 updates (main, u1, u1.5 and u1.8) and OfficialRelease.cdb dated on 04.12.2020?

Now I have extracted local.cdb dated on 29.08.2020 and I see in LOC.xml e.g.
IDloc: 766 - CONSTANT: GS1 - gene_sz_english: Cya World Tour
IDloc: 217 - CONSTANT: CyaWorldTour_Points - gene_sz_english: Cya World Tour Points
You have much more database editing experience and what do you think, when I make changes in fake names it will be working without problems?

hey i have some problems.
when i will start a new race/carrer it say:
Mod checking failed
errors are logged in 'pro cycling manager2020log.'between the tags below:

Sorry that this is a bit late, but could you please go to your PCM documents folder, open the log document (it's a txt file if I'm not mistaken) and copy paste the lines between <CheeckDatabase> and /<CheeckDatabase> as well as >CheeckRaces> and >CheeckRaces> here? Then we have a better idea of what's wrong.

Hello,
Is it normal that I have no changes in sponsors in two years of my career ?
How can I increase that if I create another career ? For example in order to have 2-3 changes per year in the world tour teams.
Does I need to change something in dyn_sponsor table ? |

Hi guys! I don't know whether this one has already surfaced, but the prologue of the GP Internacional Torres Vedras - Trofeu Joaquim Agostinho, which is 8 km long, is not registered as a time trial. Because of this error, two thirds of the peloton finished outside the time limit.
I also saw that when I hover over a cyclist's name, the regions of some countries do not show. This happens with cyclists from Belgium, Australia, USA, Kazakhstan and probably other countries. Some of the Kazakh riders' regions even change to 'Win the Tour de France'. |

Thanks for making us aware of the bugged stage. Same with the regions, we will incorporate both fixes for the 2021 update and at least for the latter we'll also be able to provide it as a fix for the 2020 DB.
We're working on it, and luckily we've gotten some additional help recently. But we all have quite a lot of real life stuff going on at the moment and we have the ambition to put out a quality product. We know it's taking longer than usual, but we're also laying a lot of ground work that should allow us to get future releases out a little quicker (though please don't take this as a promise  ). We'll keep you guys posted on when to expect a release.

The frequency of sponsor changes is random, so getting none over two years is unlikely but not impossible. There's nothing you need to "activate", at least.

I encountered a bug in another stage. This time in the fourth stage of the Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc, a 9.2km time trial. After a certain amount of riders started their time trial no other riders show up at the ramp. Because of this, the stage is just interrumpted and will never end. This problem occurs in Pro Cyclist Mode but I didn't test it yet in Career Mode. |

Not sure if this was mentioned already but there are troubles in the TT's in Volta ao Algarve, in Costa Rica road WC and a stage in one of the versions of Paris-Nice and Giro d'Italia but i forgot which. |

That's not necessarily a database problem. With any database you can get this. The problem usually is that the game schedules the rider that doesn't start for more than one race at any given time, transfers him there and doesn't withdraws him from the stage race.
Find the rider that doesn't start the time trial and edit him back into the race. It'll work. Or simulate the stage if you don't want to go into the trouble. |

Hello community(everybody),
Can someone help me please then i could play further with my career. I have downloaded the full database from lovic10. Everything is working good till i get to the giro d'italia. Almost every team has not 8 riders in the team and the teams must have 8 riders in team in the Giro, Tour and Vuelta.
Deceuninck - Quickstep(3riders), Bora - Hansgrohe(3riders), Lotto Soudal(4riders), Bahrain - Victorious(6riders), UAE Team Emirates(4riders), EF Education(6riders), Team DSM(7riders) and Astana(7riders).
Can I fix this and if somebody can help me, please help me? i give my database from the career. I have almost done everything to get it done
Please send me a e-mail to and i will give you my database.
I hope somebody can help me.

Didn't realize you played with the DB by lovic when I asked you to post in this thread, but maybe we can help anyway ^^ Can you check to see how many other races are going on at the same time as the Giro? And if you look up the results of those races, do all those teams mentioned participate? I think the most likely problem is that the teams simply don't have more riders left at the start of the Giro.

Hahahaha, sorry. But thanks. That's not the problem, i have take a look and the Greek Monument and Vuelta communidad a la madrid are also at the same time when the Giro start. But every team has 27 riders or more, so that's not the case, Alpecin Fenix has less riders and they have 8 riders in the giro. It's really frustrated when you'll start a career and you spend so much time and effort in it and then when you are at the giro, you'll can't go further because Bora with 3 riders will lose 6 minutes at the Time-Trial and Kelderman and Konrad are done in the GC Maybe i'm a poser but i like the game so much, i played it from Pro cycling manager 4 till now, but it must be realistic otherwise i don't like it. Have you other suggestions that i can do?

It's no problem to have 31 riders in the team at the start of the game. However, the limit seems to be hardcoded into the game, so once contracts run out, you'll only be able to resign riders up to 30.

All races will have their actual 2021 dates except for those that have been moved. So Paris-Roubaix will still be in April, Australian NCs will be in January, Mallorca Challenge in February etc.
We hope to be able to finish this month, but I can't give you a guarantee, sorry.
