Stage 4 of Paris-Nice 2013 is bugged. The zces file can not be decompressed...
I get a windows error message saying : "Stage need reexport : CM_Stages\top_nice_04_2013.zces"
Any way to fix this ? |

Looks like it ended loading on second attempt despite the error message...!??
But the stage loaded (Plouay?) does not correspond to stage profile. And the 3D stage did not even end on the finish line. This is weird...

Yes, this is a known error. Please check the bugs post on the first page of this thread for a solution, and apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your quick reply!
I see the bad variants listed are :
Known bad variants so far are:
top_nice_04_2014
all worlds_wings_XX
So top_nice_04_2013 can also be added to this list... |

Hi,
I play with the 1.5 version of the database. Very good work. Thank you for the database
But I've a strange Giro 2020 in my game. For example there are 2 same stages (Etna stage).
Is it normal or is something wrong with my installation ? |

That was a mistake on our part, you can find a quick fix in the bugs section on the first page of this thread. Glad you like the DB!

Hi guys, first of all, many thanks for this great DB! I have been following your work for quite some time already and I am looking forward to every update that you publish to enhance the experience with this game!
I came across an inconsistency with a stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour of year 2018. The stage 2 has a section where 6 intermediate sprints are put just behind each other (within 1 km; so close that it is hardly spottable in the profile view), adding up to 36 points that can be won there within a finger snap.
On another note, I believe this very same stage is re-used for the ultimate stage 5 of the same tour (2018 version). Therefore, this stage features the same bug.
I think you are not directly creating or updating stages yourselves, but I still wanted to make you aware so that possibly these stages can be replaced/updated in the next release just in case.
Thanks for your good work! |

That's not a bug. It's the Golden KM (usually containing 3 sprints), a feature of Benelux races.
It also appears in the BinckBank Tour. This year there were big fights because how decisive they were in the GC. Van der Poel only won the race thanks to the bonus seconds in the Golden KM of the last stage.

Thanks for your feedback. My point was not really the Golden KM itself, but rather the fact that it is SIX (!) intermediate sprints in a row, not only 3. But anyway, it does not hurt too much. :-) |

Hi
I still plays with the 1.5 version of the database.
I have encountered two bugs :
- In the Giro U23, the race leader disappeared from the race on stage 9 (not an abandon) and still won the race. There are two race winners. You can see it in the screens.
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img92...yjlUcG.png
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img92...3LAx4i.png
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img92...iPmNr8.png
- As already said previously, in the Baloise Tour of Belgium, there is the "Golden kilometer". In the race, there are 6 sprints in one kilometer with 6;4;2 secs of bonifications. Normally it is 3 sprints with 3;2;1 secs of bonifications. I don't know if it can be changed because it influences the results because in pcm, one kilometer is very short so there is one rider that wins 36 secs of bonifications easily.
Otherwise, I repeat that the work done on that database is very good.
Just to know (I don't want to put presure on you), is there gonna be a pcm daily 2021 database ?

Hi Alex, the Giro thing is pretty weird. I've seen stuff like that happen from time to time in PCM but I'm not sure if it's got something to do with the DB or if it's just a bug. Could you try to load a weekly save file from a few days before to see if the error is replicated when you rerun the race?
As for the Tour of Belgium stage, this is something that has to be changed in the stage file itself, not in the DB. Since we don't have a dedicated stage creator in our team at the moment, someone would have to provide us with a "fixed" stage and then we can include that.
And yes, there is going to be a 2021 database We're already working on and preparing for it behind the scenes, but we can't give you guys a release date yet. Our aim isn't to be among the very first DBs to come out, but instead to provide you with the best possible quality, so that may take a little time. We'll provide an update on the progress sometime in January, I think.

Thank yo for your response.
For the Giro bug, I've tried with the weekly save from before the giro U23 and the bug appeared again but with another rider from the Lotto u23 team. You can see the screen.

For the Golden Kilometer, I think there is no way to at least change the bonifications for the intermediate sprints of Baloise Tour without changing it for all other similar races (2.1 ?). Correct ?
Ok, cool for the 2021 database ! |

It would technically possible to write a new classification xml specifically for the race, I suppose. I'll look into it for 2021. Same for the U23 Giro, though I'm not exactly sure what could be the issue there tbh ^^

Ok thank you.
I suppose it is the same for the binck banck tour (also with the golden kilometer). And I don't know if the 3;2;1 bonifications is just for the golden kilometer or for all intermediate sprints. |

Looks like they got a 10 minute bonus for being Italian?
How could 4 of them even start? At the WC there's 2 places for every nation. |

In my game there are always 1-2-3 or 4 riders per team in the ITT WC.
The bug is that there is a discordance between the 51 kilometers of the ITT and the checkered (I don't know if that is the correct word) bar : the checkered bar represents way more than 51 kilometers. So we can play the ITT with an effort of 90 in order to empty the yellow bar at the end of the 51 kilometers but the checkered bar is not at all empty when the ITT is finished.
The AI is still riding with an effort of 70-75 I think.
Is it just in my game ? |

Hi,
Another small bug : In the stage 20 of AlexGaming TDF Variant (Mont Ventoux ITT), the game calculates the time gaps as if it was a normal mountain stage : same time for the riders if the gap is inferior to xx seconds. |

Hi,
First of all, great job guys
Everything works and looks very good, but I see old fake names e.g. Cya World Tour instead of World Tour when I choose a team.
Do you know how I can fix that? |
