RTG Highlights
Stage 3 was quiet more or less.

Stage 4 saw the riders spring to life. After the break was caught, Garin took up the pace-making in the pack, preventing attacks and protecting his team leaders. Garcia Cerravalos and Alunderis were dropped with 4 kilometers to go, with Levente still with the front group. Levente was finally dropped with a kilometer to go. He went on to finish 12th on the stage, the best ever finish by a RTG rider in a mountain stage, and not from a break. His GC position after this stage is also 12th. Garcia Cerravalos and Alunderis also finished in the Top 30, with Abdessabour just outside it.

RTG Highlights
De Groot joined the break on Stage 3. He won the third KOM sprint after also picking up points on the previous KOM points. He would take the lead in the KOM standings, only the second ever time an RTG rider has worn a jersey after a stage. Stanley and Alunderis were assigned to chasing the break. De Groot was caught with 14 kilometers to go. Stanley finished 25th on the stage, with Garcia Cerravalos and De Groot also picking up Top 50 places.

Clark, De Groot again, McRettin and Campeon all joined the break on the cobbled Stage 4. Those in the pack didn't survive in the pack too long over the cobbles. Stanley was one of those who did survive and was involved in chasing. But that didn't work. De Groot and Clark were a part of the breakaway that survived till the end. De Groot won the stage, the first ever win by a RTG rider! Clark finished 13th. De Groot moved up to 10th in the GC, also still holding the KOM jersey.
