Hello I have PCM2018 I think this version was a good version to play, should I buy PCM 2020 or there are not so many differences so I can still well enjoy this game with 2018 version?
I play always carrer mode and eventually I could update my version if AI behaviour had nice updates. In PCM2018 cause AI intelligence lack I have to play at a modified extreme Level in order to increase the challenge (I modded extreme level coef from 1.05 to 1.10)
I moved from 18 to 20 mainly because the sprint AI annoys me in 18 as even the easiest flat stages tend to play out like a 250km classic with riders being dropped or running out of energy before the sprint.
Don't think 20 is much better though, maybe a little. I believe breakaways are less likely to succeed, I think that is better and means the peloton has more energy left at the end But have seen others who thought they went too far and made it too hard for a breakaway to succeed.
I have seen some instances in 20 where a team with multiple riders in a small group will try and use their advantage by taking turns to attack. Don't think that happened in other version.
I don't play career mode much but if you are focused on race AI I don't see a strong reason to upgrade.
I remember your great posts on game mechanics so glad to see you are still engaged.
