Fantastic stuff! I love to see Kump back to winning terms in his first PCT race. What a perfect 1-2 on that stage, I love it!

Good effort by Guarnieri. Was always going to be tough to get a good GC result with an uphill finish on Old Willunga Hill on stage 5, so not too bothered about the time lost. We're still in for the points jersey, so that's good, but need two very good results on stage 4 and 6
Panicked slightly when you said we had a win goal here roturn, so had to double check, but our win goal was definitely Down Under Classic and not this race thankfully
Congrats to Nordstrom!

KUMP
Kump moving into second in the GC and taking the green jersey is fantastic, hopefully Kump will be able to take the leader's jersey come Willunga, but gotta admit Houle is looking quite scary.

Nice effort from the team to force those gaps. Borges seemed like he could have taken the stage at a given point. Fifth is still a pretty solid outcome though.
Great stage to follow. Hopefully Willunga will provide the same level of excitement
Congrats WJ, it looks like Kump will be the leader you need him to be! Great acquisition!

It's not bad, but that first stage should've given us an edge over Kump/Houle, who are doing great for their managers.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The PCT teams clearly mastering the race so far this year, but Edmondson definitely has a shot at a great GC result for BNZ - nice podium today!
It's actually good to see that riders like Kump can still work well - but they don't always, as I can't really explain why someone like Ackermann (77 Hi just as Kump, pretty similar backups) completely fails on the same stage. While the likes of VdS are able to keep up... well. Daily form stuff I guess ^^
An interesting GC so far, that's for sure!

With Tosh it tends to be his back-ups, at least based on previous seasons - he's incredibly difficult to drop, so if there aren't attacks on the final climb he'll normally hang on to the end of the group. Although I can't remember what Ackermann's support stats are like, so it may just be luck on my side
Nice ride from Turgis and Bettiol as well today. If the race was to finish with the GC as it is now I'd be very happy, but I expect Willunga will prove our undoing. |

Houle in a really poor position in the sprint is annoying but to be fair Kump wasn't at the front for a while either so looks like they were just destined for the 1-2 Good result for us and nice to be back in the jersey for a day at least, even if it makes Kump the huge favourite now if Stage 5 has them both in the leader's group. The fact Houle was following that attack is also super promising AI-wise.
Hopefully the next two flat days can go better for Houle than stage 2 to try and get some bonuses as I guess even if he gets dropped on Willunga he'll be in the GC points somewhere and every second will count. If somehow he could hang onto the jersey tomorrow that would be great too.
Nice as well that Meurisse finished in the group and seemed to be working well in service of Houle as well as looking like a top 15-20 finish himself which would be quite handy. And once again awesome to see Tosh doing so well again

Good to be the team effort, sad that it was not to become a stage result.

Ulissi hasn’t looked too flash so far. He’ll need a big day on Willunga!

Quite a serious selection
Hoped GCN could’ve pulled off a good result with Schreurs so it’s a pity to see him caught behind a split (which really shouldn’t have happened).

A missed chance by Kump to get the leaders jersey before Willunga
On the other hand Guarnieri is absolutely on fire Down Under

This lineup has taken a severe nosedive - not a great look for the riders.

Cool, two riders in the Top 10 (points?) and another Strava alumnus winning a stage. Works for me. Merci roturn, and gratz to the win.

Not sure how to feel about that. Wanted bonuses back to puncheurs but keeping Houle in ochre could be huge for the minor performance boost and to ensure Meurisse keeps working for him (no reason to believe he wouldn't though), as well as the extra points. Now an anxious wait to see how it unfolds on Willunga.

Vesely in a good position but then sprints backwards. Where have I seen this before?
Starting to think the problem wasn't Vantomme but us.
