Guys any changes in Top Hills????

In my opinion:
Alaphilippe 83
Hirschi 82
Valverde 80/81
Fuglsang 80/81
Ulissi 80
Roglic 78
Pogacar 78/79
Van der Poel 78
Formolo 79
Van Aert 79
Kwiatkowski 79

At the very least 79 for VdP. If you saw his absolute insane performance at the last stage of BinckBank tour and then the day after winning the bunch sprint behind the leading group and placing 6th at LbL after doing literally all the work after they couldn’t follow the very best guys. He was by far the best rider in that field and would’ve won easily had it not been for his absolute monstrous performance the day before. I’ve given my opinion for VdP stats recently, but after what he has shown I would give him a bump in both HI and REC based on those stats

No Mohoric (who finished in front of Mathieu)?
Schachmann also forgotten by everyone?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Don't know if you've noticed Sobreros good performances both in the Italian National ITT and in the giro ITT + Stage 2. I don't really know what type of rider he is, but he seems like a punchy allrounder with a solid TT.

Also everybody has forgotten Cosnefroy who finished second at FW and would've finished higher at LBL had he not had a late mechanical problem.

Also bear in mind that LBL uses quite a lot of mtn stat which is why GT riders don't really need to have their hill increased to what they are at the moment. The riders that need higher hill are mostly the ones with lower mtn like Cosnefroy, VDP and Mohoric etc. I'd also say after Alaphilippe both Fuglsang and Hirschi are the best hill riders but Hirschi probably needs higher as he has much lower mtn than Fuglsang.

Yes I noticed that along with Almeida, riders like Sobrero and Foss also put in good TT's as well.

Yates had Covid. So this Giro was not a representation of his climbing ability.

Two ways of looking at this and that is to recognize the Covid and just leave him at 81 mtn BUT even before the announcement that he had the virus and based on an average last year was thinking he might be better at 80 mtn which would would probably mean Adam would drop to 79 mtn as Simon is imo still the better of the two. so both stay 81/80 or 80/79 for the next update is the choice. As always opinions welcome on these two as they are never easy to stat.

I think 81 for simon and 80 for adam is okay. I think Simon is stronger, too. Both have weak back up stats, especially REC, so 81 and 80 in MTN are ok.

I also think despite some doubts that 81 and 80 are the best for them. The big issue with the Yates brothers is you never know what you're going to get. It could be a GT contender or just a stage winner, and you never really know this until the first important stages arrive. The best way to weaken them is with their rec.

Florian Vermeersch made the initial front group selection in Gent-Wevelgem today, after good results elsewhere already this season.
Certainly a young talent to keep an eye on regarding potential stat changes.

For the next update we have decided to stretch out the stats even more and use more 83 and 82 in the stats to highlight some of the elite riders even more. Most of this has been done already (pending the Giro and Flanders) but the only stat that I'm still working on is flat and I'd be interested in members putting down who they think are say the top 5 or 10 best flat stat riders in the world with the best first and lesser afterwards etc. I just want flat and not cobble as I will combine cobble later on with the flat.

Cio- Vermeersch has been noted and would've stayed probably in that front group were it not for his crash and will get an upgarde.

Simon Yates dropped Thomas, Vlasov and Majka by 34 seconds in Sassotetto at Tirreno-Adriatico. I would say last years Giro is the anomaly ( he went to the Tour for stage wins and took 2 stage wins )

Politt
Lampaert

Good list, I would add the following riders:

B.Jungels
S.K.Andersen
T.Martin

Yeah I can't remember Florian crashing.
The reason he lost contact with the front group was the split late on the flat where all teams with two riders in the group had their weaker rider caught out behind, so nobody tried to close the gap.

They all came really close, as did Naesen, Stuyven, Benoot and a few others, but he asked for a top 10.
