So you will be the one making the screenshots look like a virus has hit my graphic card.
Very special team kit, hard to unsee. Looking forward into how you can "come back" from a previously very successful project. |

I've seen the design somewhere. I feel like I've seen it, or at least something very similar. Didn't your own project have some black/white kit?
On another note: Glad that you're back, will be very interesting to follow your project.
You're right! Had a very similar design for a little club team in SA The design was actually very popular and if I had a couple of $1000 to spare I'd make a big batch and resell it.
Please do and ship one to me |

I'm pretty sure there is a certain former rider of yours, that I have fallen in love with over the last couple of years. That I stupidly managed to not renew
He will surely tickle your fancy

I noticed - someone who we invested years of development in only to disappear when he was maxed

Well if it makes you feel any better he was a fan favourite with us

Project: Africa Squad Takes Shape From the team headquarters in a sunny Cape Town, Project: Africa team principle and U23 World Champion, Aidan van Niekerk, is pleased to announce the team's first batch of signings since rejoining the professional peloton for the 2020 season.
"It's an interesting challenge building a team from scratch - especially when seeing a lot of our former riders flourishing at different teams. While we did invest in their development, our abrupt ending meant that we can't reap that investment today. Nonetheless, the real winner was African cycling and that was our mission from the outset.
We look forward to developing the next generation of riders and building a 100% African team. We think this is possible as soon as the 2021 season."

Retirement home?
Decent looking riders for the overall depth of the team with van Heerden obviously going to do well. Haddi as a decent leadout too...
Well done so far

A couple more retirees on the way
Quite happy with how my team is taking shape. I'm sure both will be decent point scorers with some smart planning.

Nice African core of signings, even though they are aging they at least should all be more than feasable CT riders!

Good to see Project:Africa back, hopefully fares very well with less competition in the African market this time around. Best of luck! |

Hey! Good to hear from you.
Cunego and his Rwandan team is giving me a hard time, but it's not nearly as much as Eritel and Kenya Airways! |

Really solid foundation you're building for that win-now approach. Merom and Laizer should provide immediate value at that price tag. I had Haddi on my list as well, hope he can perform well for you!

In the next singing announcement, the team is pleased to welcome back two familliar faces - Costa Seibeb and John-Lee Augustyn. The latter had initially planned for retirement, but following a persuasive conversation he agreed to serve his final season as a backbone of the new Project: Africa. John-Lee should prove invaluable as a team help - while ever-aggressive Costa Seibeb will look for opportunities whenever the road tilts up.
The new face is dual Ugandan champion, Samuel Ssabagwanya. We are thrilled to welcome him from Farfetch cycling. Ssabagwanya is sure to be a great dual-pronged threat with Seibeb as races head into hilly terrain.

With bold stage race goals, it imperative that the team has a solid foundation of time trialers to perform well in team time trial stages. The trio of Kiflay, Betilson, and Hamza is sure to bolster our performances against the clock.
With the signing of Richard Laizer - as well as a couple of more time trialers on the way - the team would no doubt be very well equiped to take on the best in the division.

Great signings, Glanbia won't be the uncontested number 1 in TTTs now
And by the way, might still be able to offer you the Ivorian TT champion (well, that NC title doesn't really mean he's strong, but still )

Really strong additions for the prices, I think. The TT focus should definetely pay off, both for the TTTs but also for lots of depth scoring in ITTs. I'm also glad that we went into different directions, terrain wise, for the most part
