Guys and what do you think about Joao Almeida and Andrea Bagioli???
Put your stats please
Almeida 77/75 but with low back up stats
Bagioli 73/76 and has better back up stats
I'm sure Bagioli will improve more soon.

He won a stage at Poland and second today and clearly like Kristoff goes best in rain. If we compare him to say other strongmen like Trentin, Teunisson and WVA these riders are around 77 and 78 either with good acc or low acc etc and I had already upgraded him after Poland but for now I would go with 77/77 or 77/78 at best. This is only the opening stage and if on form will challenge for more sprints and then can be looked at again. Similar riders:
Bol 79/76
Teunisson 78/76
Trentin 77/78
WVA 77/77

Definitely not, he wins sprint because he rides faster than the others, not because of some great acceleration like Ewan or Bennett.

Aizak as you say Olifardh is correct and in the latest update I put him to 77/77 but now proving already he is better than this and 78/78 or 79/79 are options and have put 78/78 for now and also added a point more in mtn as well. He beat Bol today who is 79/76 so 78/78 looks ok for now. His main strength now is that he is good at everything and has high stats in everything but his biggest weapon is his RES at 80.
Strange stage today as many riders rested up till the finish but then the bigger sprinters couldn't win as expected but there were some peloton splits at the end.

I'd say something like 78 SPR 76 ACC with his great backup stats, if anything I'd up the SPR not the ACC.

The problem with this could be that he will be lacking against the other sprinters. For example Demare is 81/78, Kristoff 80/78-77, Bol 79/76 and these can compete because of their big front end. If WVA is 78/76 then he will be similar to Walscheid and how many big races does he win in-game
As always put suggestions for WVA as he becoming the new Sagan meaning that he's very hard to stat well.

I agree with Ollfahrd here. The problem may be solved because van Aerts superior allround stats will ensure him an energy-advantage in the final

As a portuguese fan of cycling i spent some time reviewing the stats of portuguese teams. They are mainly surprisingly well done, but João Rodrigues from W52 (as well as some riders of minor importance) seems a bit off.
He had a great season last year, much better than some of his teammates like José Mendes and Raul Alarcon who are rated higher. I dare to say João is the best rider in a portuguese team atm, but i understand that this isn't one of the main focus of the db.
Anyway, thanks for the great job you developed and if needed i can help with the stats of more portuguese teams riders. |
