Ludvigsson .. wow. He is really strong this season. Good to see Nibali in the lead, let's see if he can defend it against Quintana.
Mohoric is really dominating the hilly races this season.
Thanks Shonak! |

Guatemala wrapped up, 2 more stages of Deutschland and first 3 stages of fuji posted.
Guatemala has a quiiite long video of Stage 5, usually my favourite stage to watch in ICL.

Freakin Nibali get off my back. Yeah that Guatemala Stage 5 is my favourite one of the year as well, together with Aleko Vitosa of course.
Mohoric down to 5th is a petty in Germany, hopefully he can gain a couple of places.

Was going so well in Guatemala but then Dombrowski suffered big time on Stage 5. 12th is ok but we had the Top 10 before that and had to let it go.
Huge win and the GC lead for Yates in Deutschland stage 6. The sponsors will be surely be happy about that.
Didn't expect anything from Fuji and getting nothing out of it till now.

Van Poppel showing he's still alive, although not winning anything. Maybe he can get in shape for le Tour?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Massive win by Quintana though despite crashing in the descent and having to catch up all the way to Nibali (end of part 1 video). Without crash might have had enough power to beat Nibs.
In any case, I don't see how Herrada or Bardet can match Quintana after he turned 82MT/80HL.

Few interesting stage results lately. Craddock twice 2nd place. Komisarek also with decent scoring. Still not enough to hold in WT, but luckily I see some CCC in the top 10 lately, lol |

So many results, thank you, Shonak! I always love the videos and that stage is fantastic. You caught the crash beautifully!
Well, Majka didn't have the legs to challenge the big two, but 3rd is a fine result. The video showed me that Monsalve was just moving to the front to protect Majka after Bertlisson was finished, but the split happened a few seconds too soon. Didn't matter, though. I wasn't impressed by Ruben, he made no effort to get a better GC position. Oh, but Dowsett was 5th in the ITT, finally another good ride from him.
Fuji is going really well, Tao Hart rode a great ITT. Nothing much GC wise in Germany, but nice work by Bibby, who made it into three breakaways.

Guatemala was a great race for us with Caruso getting 7th and Cambianca taking the last stage in style.
Deutschland Tour and Fuji look quite solid so far with Villella and Domont just outside the Top 10, hopefully Villella will slip into the Top 10 in the last 2 stages. La Jurassaine was also pretty good as Caruso was his ever consistent self and got 6th.
Thanks for the results Shonak!

Riis leading the KoM - good news indeed.
But what happened to Wout Poels though?

Did you miss De Marchi?
Great racing in Guatemala and the video really had me on the edge of my seat. Quintana was insanely strong despite crashing. I'm happy that Nibali could barely secure the win against him in the end.
I posted the first three stages of Rheinland-Pfalz Rundfahrt. |

Honestly its a shame Cimolai.missed the stage win on Fuji 2 bc the leadout was flawless.

True, forgot to mention him, good stuff from him, but you mean we actually did a sprint train? Who was the lead-out, Dillier?

Not sure, but Cimolai was really. It could also be that it was also Guatemala stage 3 with Ponzi where Ponzi was close to victory actually until 100 meters. All the races are a bit a blur by now.

No worries, both were good performances anyway, even if another win would have been nice.

Did you think I've missed that? I'm happy with Riis's stage win (that also helped him in his KoM quest) and it was even better when it was made 1-2 by De Marchi, who had the leaders jersey for a cup of coffee. Though I'm not very optimistic that De Marchi would hang onto the podium spot.

Fuji und Germany concluded with two stages each.
Spoiler Bananito just short off kicking Yates off the podium but 3 times podium in the last three years. Good race for Bananito for sure.
Very happy with Navarro's first PT win, came very unexpected and had me smiling Almost would have won the points class but came short one point against Cimolai
Former Liberty rider Domont with a surprise appearance in Top 10 in Fuji, must be very welcome by Vali
Also, Bardet having a thing for 2nd places so far - Tachira, Trentino, Fuji. Wonder what that means for le Tour hmmm
