MrUfo87: Yes also looking forward to Italy, hope not too many young monsters attend
Ripley: Guess stage racer will also provide a better punch at some point and so will Northern Class if we go there. Right now most worried by his RES at any kind of profile, would be great with a few upgrades there

Hotel Brasserie Florian, Wijk bij Duurstede
Netherlands 28.6.2021
Midden-Brabant Poort Omloop
Doorn - Leersum 169.9 km
Hermann Keller was part of the morning breakaway, originally just 5 riders, but the attacks continued for a long time and it ended with 20 riders.
The weather conditions were not exactly perfect, with constant rain and wet roads.
The pack could not allow a break of this size getting too much time, the race developed into one long high pace pursuit, with the gap swinging around two minutes over more than 100 km.
For the first race in a while, Noah was in a pure domestic role today spending the entire race protecting the squad leaders
Noah pulling Joshua up to the front after a narrow sector
The mix of the high pace, bad weather with some crashes on the wet roads and a bumpy route with narrow sectors, reduced the pack little by little, but the breakaway was eventually caught with some 30 km left.
It came to a reduced sprint from an exclusive favorite group of 20 riders, Leslie and Joshua the two Lotto - Kern Haus riders left.
The race was won by Nils Eekhoff SEG Racing Academy
Joshua Huppertz finished 6th Leslie Lührs 12th.

Lotto – Kern Haus headquaters, Weitersburg
Germany 2.7.2021
Noah was sitting in the riders room watching the Tour de France with Kim Heiduk and Leslie Lührs. Todays TTT was not started, they saw a re-run of yesterday’s stage three from Marseille to La Grande-Motto, a flat stage expected to end in a mass sprint. Pinot in yellow after winning the opening 15 km ITT.
Florian entered the room: “Leslie have you got 15 minutes?”.
Leslie Lührs: “Sure be right there”, Leslie finished his tea and when into Florian’s office.
The sprint started, Van Aert pacing hard and launched Groenewegen, but Jasper Philipsen was the fastest today. After the re-run the team trail started.
Leslie came back looked directly at Noah and said: “Now it is your turn”, turning his head in the direction of the door to indicate the direction to Florian’s office.
Noah: “Ok” getting up with a surprised face expression.
Florian: “Hi Noah, come in and sit down, we got some interesting news.
Noah: “OK”
Florian: "Sporthilfe Rheinland-Pfalz have contacted up, they are interested in developing the best young athletes from teams in the Rheinland area, in our case they are interested in developing two riders, by offering them an excellent winter training camp in Northern France with focus on cobblers and sprinter."
Noah: “Sounds great, and I am one of the two?
Florian: “You could be, but there will be some terms so you have to sign a new contract to secure that you will not leave the team, and also we cannot accept that you change your long term training goals, inspired by the technical knowledge you may get from the camp, we are still mainly interested in your climbing if we have to invest in you, and a camp like this will be a major investment for us, Sporthilfe will not pay everything."
"This is the agreement you need to sign, if you want to go: I am also awaiting an answer from Leslie, we need to know at the end of July."
The meeting was over and Noah back with his teammates. Ineos won the TTT and
Geraint Thomas took the race lead.
Option 1: Sigh.
+1 COB +2 SPR (from 31/11-2021)
Clause:
A: Can’t sign any new contract before the current contract runs out, even if Noah pays the penalty he had in his contract
(story wise we just won’t get any offers)
B: Can’t select different training style or long term training goal at the beginning of 2022.
(otherwise that would be possible, likely with a small loss of total skill)
Option 2: Don’t Sigh.
Nothing happens, he might get offers (depending of results) and we can chose different training.

Option 2, don't want him to be locked in his training. |

I'd love Noah to get an upgrade of his cobbles skills, but as I'd prefer to make him a true cobbler, I don't want him to be locked in his long-term training, either.
That means Option 2.

But the majority might not agree with making him a pure cobbler, with option 1 he'll at least get a definite upgrade there. I'm torn between the two options. The team is paying his wages and I don't really want to go against their plans for Noah. And switching teams would be a bit expensive, too. But I don't really want to lock him into becoming a stage racer, either... Well, we already have two votes for option 2, so I'll even it out a little and say Option 1.

I prefer him as a stage racer , so Option 2 . (But doesnt mind to challenge at youth and lesser cobble races to gain experience+cash, and if there be a cobble stage in a future TDF, maybe he win there the race ) |

Thanks everyone for voting, in general won't comment on the vote, not to be part of the outcome.
@jaxika: This is a bit unclear if you prefer him as a stage racer, not sure why not go option 1 as he will then be locked as stage racer for a while to come, just with better sprint and cobbles, if Option 2 - he can be changes at the beginning of next season.
Just to be clear what you want?

I'd go Option 1.
True the Clauses are harsh but it's the team that pays his salary every month and that would make him a bit better on Cobbles if he chooses to switch to pure cobbler later in his carrer.
Don't think that it would be best for him to change teams in mid contract, even if he has to pay the penalty. |

Hotel Maracaibo Trece 27, Maracaibo
Venezuela 5.7.2021
Vuelta Ciclista a Venezuela [center]
Maracaibo - Maracaibo 91.9 km
A short stage will open Vuelta Ciclista a Venezuela, but the heat will make it feel longer, we got 35°C and little wind.
Two riders form the initial breakaway and a few others attempts later, but soon we got only Connor Sens X-Speed United Continental Team alone in front of the breakaway. He was caught with 25 km left.
Noah leads the train to the front, swinging of just before the 3 km mark.
Hermann Keller opens the sprint for Lotto - Kern Haus, then Manuel Porzner and Joshua Huppertz supposed to finish it.
Hermann Keller opens the sprint
No flaw in the Lotto - Kern Haus sprint today, just perfect.
Joshua Huppertz wins the stage in front of Boy Van Poppel Metec - TKH Continental Cyclingteam p/b Mantel, Manuel Porzner 7th.

Just to be sure: What exactly is his long-term training focus right now? Pure climbing? Or hills as well? Because hills might come in handy too if turning back to a cobbler later... In this case I might actually be in for option 1, but want to be sure first.

@Fabianski/Ripley
Right now his long team training focus (that is what is his rider type) is Stage Racer (mainly Climber with good ITT, PRO, REC also some HIL,RES)
His training type (what he trains with his trainer) is also Stage Racer.
That said, the max at lvl 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 of every skill type is manual set my me, so it won't completely follow the in-game system Ripley mention.
To directly answer the question Hill will grow at the same level no matter if we go Northern Class or Stage Races up to level 5, at level 6-7 Stage Racer will grow a little faster. But off course if we want a near perfect hill we have to go Puncher.

Hotel Plaza - Las Acacias, Trujillo
Venezuela 6.7.2021
Vuelta Ciclista a Venezuela
Cabimas – Valera 188.6 km
Still very hot and a longer stage, water supplies will be very important. Another obstacle is 30 km/h winds, mainly from behind but sometimes as crosswind.
Connor Sens X-Speed United Continental Team initiate what is to become the six-rider breakaway we get on the 2nd stage.
Despite having the Yellow jersey Team Lotto - Kern Haus does not work on the first 130 km, but then to prevent a breakaway win, Hermann Keller and Manuel Porzner was send to the front.
Hermann Keller working hard at the front reeling in the breakaway, as the pack passes the 20 km banner
The breakaway was soon over and from here there was constant attacks from the major punchers and climbers. No one was able to distance the favorite group, but instead we saw a constant selection out the back door reducing the group to 23 riders.
Noah was fighting like mad to position the Yellow jersey, moving forward fast as the group past under the red kite.
Noah has opened the sprint with Joshua Huppertz glued
The timing was actually ok, but SEG Racing Academy’s Nils Eekhoff was sitting perfectly at Joshua wheel and took the stage win.
Joshua Huppertz 2nd and Noah came in 6th, all in all a very acceptable result.
Joshua still lead the race.
Noah moved up to 6th, but quite many riders have the same time.

Sorry, I assumed for the natural progression you just used the game's system. Have edited my post to not confuse people.
Excellent start in Venezuela!
