Tour de Małopolska Stage 1, 155.8 km

i.imgur.com/6a0vvSZ.jpg

We know that we don’t stand a chance in case of a mass sprint finish, Aksel Skot-Hansen feels good this morning, we decide that he should try to join the breakaway.
Aksel was not allowed to slip away and we get a weak morning breakaway with just two riders, already reeled in mid-stage. On the last ½ race every acceleration was closed down swiftly, it ends in a mass sprint won by Raymond Kreder from Team Ukyo

Coloquick best Alexander Salby 14th.

Tour de Małopolska Stage 2, 177.2 km

i.imgur.com/xUtEgKE.jpg

The startlist is filled with rather strong climbers and punchers, might be very hard to obtain good GC result.
Askel again feeling fine and we decide for him to try and join the morning breakaway.

Askel do get in the break, but it was costly as he used a lot of his energy closing the gap, the break dominated by Jan Stöhr from AC Sparta Praha vacuuming most of the KoM points.

The stage develop into a minor disaster for Coloquick, disorganized and simply not strong enough, what remains of the team in the pack was cut of by a sudden explosion up front and ends up in pursuit of the 39 rider strong favorite group.

i.imgur.com/fmW4ejT.jpg

The stage was won by Darwin Atapuma from Colombia Tierra de Atletas - GW Bicicletas,
Noah team best as 41th losing 3’10”

Tour de Małopolska Stage 3, 138.9 km

i.imgur.com/NqUx6KY.jpg

Coloquick chose to stay in the pack, to have the strongest possible squad in the final. Again a very hard stage where the final already started mid-stage.

With more than 50 km left a favorite group of 50 riders already left everyone else behind, Coloquick with four riders in this group

Although many riders came back on the flat section leading up to the final climb, the pace was quite hard and many riders was clearly still suffering from the mid stage climbs. The only Coloquick rider able to stay with the favorites up to the last accelerations towards the line was Noah, coming is as 19th losing 24”

The stage was won by Nathan Earle from Team Ukyo.
Darwin Atapuma won the GC and points, Jan Stöhr the KoM, Anatoliy Budyak from Wibatech Merx 7R the U25, Noah 8th in that Classification.
Team best in GC also Noah 32nd at 3'50"

i.imgur.com/UgIz2zk.jpg

The team did not get any price money from the race.

MrUfo87
Ouch two difficult races for the team. A real pity but I guess the other riders and teams were just too strong. They couldn't have done that much with this startlist. Let's hope for better results in the upcoming races.

Noah had a few days rest going home to his family, now checking in at the office, not feeling very well having to explain the results from Poland, Mr. Andersen back from his travels, sits behind his desk looking down at a pile of papers.

Noah: “Good morning Sir”, that came out to formal.

Christian Andersen looking up from his paper’s: "wow you don’t have to call me Sir, Christian will do fine." Andersen smiles without any undertone: "No reason for you to be nervous, I’m not holding you responsible for Poland as I’m not sure it could be much better, let’s forget it……this time. Come here and sit down.”

Noah takes a chair and helps himself to a cup of coffee.

Christian Andersen: You will race Grand Prix Horsens and the National Road Race, coming up soon, so what I want is your advice on our start-list in Horsens.

Noah, clearly relieved with the way the conversation is heading: Yes, sure

Christian Andersen: "Andreas Brandt Aidel would normally be a good choice for a race like this, but his form recently is just dropping hard, his trainer say he is not lazy but he just does not produce the watts the should.

i.imgur.com/FqW28wo.jpg

Anthon Charmig may not be the logical choice, but I have noticed that he seems very uncomfortable with the fact that he is not chosen in too many races, his form is fine and just might be good for his moral". (in-game impact)

Option 1

It's not like Charmig is some great climber/puncheur. I hope Noah can get a free role with either option Smile

@redordead - if the right legs surely a free role in Horsens, The NC will be all for the top sprinter.

Noah is giving himself 110% on the trainer bike with Mathias Krigbaum watching the Cycling Computer. Noah slows down, the session is over.
Krigbaum: "congratulations, you just extended all you best results on many parameters, really showing some notable progress."

Editorial: We have got the first skill upgrade coming from natural in-game progression and surprisingly many at the same time. When/If I notice those in-game changes, I will make red rings like this:

@Ripley -
The in-game impact is the new moral system, the young lad is simply depressed - what effect is if we improve that - have no idear

Will try a lighter red next time, may stand out more.

Noah decide against helping Anthon Charmig out of his misery, thinking only on getting the best result for the team he want Andreas in the squad even with a bad form.

Grand Prix Horsens Posten, Horsens, Denmark, Wednesday 17.6.2020

Horsens – Horsens 191.7 km

i.imgur.com/kPQV0rY.jpg

Sebastian Kolze Changizi has splendid legs today and was allowed to go into the breakaway. The breakaway becomes up to 11 riders at some points at the stage, but high pace and the hilly terrain makes this number change a lot over the day.

Tobias Kongstad from Riwal has attacked from the break, Sebastian has just bridged the gap, 145 km left

i.imgur.com/ip6AqqD.jpg

The breakaway last to the circuit in Horsens, Sebastian the last rider to get caught with about 25 km left.

With about 10 km to the line attacks start from the peloton on the undulated circuit, top favorites Jeroen Meijers from Ssios Miogee Cycling get a gap in the company of Pawel Bernas from Mazowsze Serce Polski and Serghei Tvetcov, Team Sapura Cycling.

They were not caught and Pawel Bernas wins the race in front of Serghei Tvetcov with 17” go the pack.

i.imgur.com/5MZG2Oq.jpg

In the pack Coloquick have set up a train with Noah Takaima to lead out Rasmus Lund Pedersen and Nicolai Brøchner, besides the fact that they did not close the gap to the trio, a perfect timing and they make it Nicolai 4th, Rasmus 5th and Noah 6th over the line.

Taking into account that it was a tough start-list a great result.

Some nice team results recently. The TT wasn't great, but the Road Race is another chance to show your ability.

It clear from the very beginning the Noah does not have the legs today, where as several other are in a perfect daily form, Noah will be assigned to protection of Nicolai.

Rasmus Lund Pedersen becomes part of todays break and later also Jeppe Aaskov was able to bridge to what was to become todays 5 riders breakaway.

i.imgur.com/oDTn4Gj.jpg

The breakaway holds a gap between 3’30 and 4’00 most of the day, but from the 60 km mark the gap quickly drop at about 1’00. Coloquick’s Sebastian Kolze Changizi was down on the tarmac and never gets back.

Around the 25 km mark, we start to se a series of accelerations from the pack from very strong riders, Mads Würtz Schmidt, Jonas Gregaard, Rasmus Quaade and others, cutting more seconds from the breakaway lead, now only ColoQuick's Jeppe Aaskov, Martin Toft Madsen from BHS - PL Beton and Jesper Hansen from Cofidis left in front.

Noah back to get the last round of supply for his teammates, soon after he was dropped from the pack

i.imgur.com/QhmWhft.jpg

The attacking from the pack continues and soon the breakaway was over, it comes to the expected mass sprint won by Michael Mørkøv in front of Magnus Cort and Mads Pedersen

i.imgur.com/UrCVZ1b.jpg

Team ColoQuick train works perfect considering the quality of the riders in the race, Nicolai Brøchner comes 7th, Oliver Wulff Frederiksen 9th and Alexander Salby 10th.

Noah comes into the office

Christian Andersen: Hi Noah, sit down. We got two coming races in this month, but with your fine performance lately, you are already on the start-list for both not much to talk about really. Both quite hard profiles so you will be leader/co-leader in both.

Vuelta Ciclista a Venezuela (2.2) 5/7 – 11/7

We got no bonuses in this race

i.imgur.com/SimSowd.jpg

Volta a Portugal do Futuro (2.2U)

As always OK have provided us with some bonuses for this U23 race
GC: Team win 50 € Team Podium 25 €
Stage win 100 €
GC win 300 €, GC top 5 150 €, GC top 10 75 €.

"There is something more important we need to talk about.., just a second", Anderson is skimming trough his usual pile of papers.

Hvidbjerg, Denmark, Thursday 2.7.2020

Christian Andersen: “Here it is” Andersen has pulled out some papers from the pile: “Transfers is coming up soon, I have had some unofficial chats with managers from different teams, at this point we are not talking details but you need to select the teams we should keep in contact with. This is the options we got.”

1. My own first choice is Beat Club from Netherlands, their current focus is cobbles/Sprint so you can get more cobbled races and you will be their best climber.

2. Italian Cycling Team Friuli , generally a weak squad so will be amongst there leaders, but as a team they might lack results.

3. German LKT Team Brandenburg , also a rather weak squad but with very young riders the team may improve fast. Sprinter focus.

4. South African NTT Continental Cycling Team , with a mixed squad of nationalities and direct Pro Tour relations, sprinter focus.

5. French St. Michel–Auber93 , a strong squad in need of a cobble leader.

6. Austrian Felbermayr–Simplon Wels , another fine squad in need of a great cobbler.

7. German Lotto–Kern Haus , a well-rounded team with sprinter focus you may end up the cobble leader with a fine support.

8. Team SKS Sauerland , a relative weak German squad, you will be leader/co-leader on most terrains.

9. Belgian Telenet–Baloise Lions , a relative strong squad with a puncher/sprinter focus, also in need of a cobble leader.

10. Belgian Wallonie-Bruxelles, a large and young but rather weak squad, in need of a rider like you able to ride on many terrains, you will clearly be leader in most situations.

“Think about it”, Andersen hands over the papers to Noah. “Give me some feedback about what you think about those teams, before you leave for Venezuela, “You might off course stay with us for another season but let us keep our options open.”

VOTE

Vote on the team(s) you want to keep on the transfer list, you can vote on max. two teams, the 1st will get 2 points, the 2nd 1 point (we need to select min. 3 - max 5. teams at this point). As always, the first mentioned teams (on the above list) will be highest priority in case of a tie.

MrUfo87
Curious to see what Noah could do in Venezuela and Portugal!

My two choices are:
1. Lotto-Kern Haus
2. Beat Club

Ripley
He really wants to get rid of Noah, doesn't he? Smile

My first choice would be to stay, less pressure, otherwise the Beat Club sounds good.
