In this thread, you can ask your general support questions and report any problems and bugs you find.
Before you do, make sure to read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) thoroughly to see if your problem has been listed there. If the solution offered in the FAQ below doesn't work for you, please mention this in your post to avoid getting your post ignored.
Already reported bugs and the solutions (or fixing progress) can be found in the Reported bugs post below this.
There's two simple rules you need to follow:
1. Don't ask questions about future release dates
2. No PMs to DB Team members. If you need support, we'll provide it in here
3. If you'd like to request something to be added in future updates, please use the wishlist thread
Please keep in mind that we're volunteers and we don't get paid to do this. In fact, we built this db up without a single experienced db creator. Most of us are working or studying next to this, so be patient if you don't get a reply or we can't find a solution immediately.

In this post you can find the bugs that have been reported in the Support requests thread since the latest update of the PCM.daily Database Pack. We will explain the bugs and provide you with a (temporary) solution if possible.
After Update 1.5, the Giro has two duplicate stages
Bug desciption: If you copied the Giro stage files from our Update 1.5, you will notice that stages 2 and 3 are the same as stages 4 and 5.
Solution: Download these stages files and put them into your CM_Stages folder. You should now have the correct 2020 Giro route.
Stats, names and teams suddenly revert back to standard
Bug description: Or they don't show up as expected in the first place.
Solution: Occasionally, PCM replaces our cdb file with the default one. Just keep a copy of our OfficialRelease.cdb from the most recent download and copy it back to the documents folder while having the game open and everything should be fine.
Bug description: This message can show up and the stages will not finish properly, or they don't load at all.
Solution: Unfortunately, we included a few race variants that were unexpectedly uncompatible with PCM20. There are two possible solutions to this.
1. If you know your way around an editor, you can open your savegame, go to STA_stage, look for the respective race (you can find the corresponding fkIDrace in STA_race) and change the value in gene_sz_variant to a working one. You can look for the name of a working variant by going to the one-off race mode ingame and clicking through the variants of a given race. As a hypothetical example, if the 2019 variant of the Tour de France wasn't working, you could replace "top_tdf_01_2019" in the gene_sz_variant column with "top_tdf_01_2020" and do this for every stage to have the 2020 variant in your savegame instead. Then go to the folder CM_stages in PCM's steam directory and delete the stage files for the corrupt variant, so the game doesn't chose it again in future seasons.
2. If you don't want/can work with an editor, there's another option. Go to the folder CM_stages in PCM's steam directory and make copies of the stages of a functioning variant (in our hypothetical example "top_tdf_XX_2020". Then delete the stage files for the corrupt variant and rename the copied files to the names of the now-deleted copied ones (so you would delete the "top_tdf_2019" files and then rename the copied 2020 files to "top_tdf_XX_2019". That way, the game has working stage files for the variant it's currently using.
Either way, please let us know which variants are corrupted so we can collect them here and others can delete them in advance. Known bad variants so far are:
top_nice_04_2014
all worlds_wings_XX
The following bugs have been fixed in our updates.
Missing graphics for custom sponsor Sky
Bug description: See title
Solution: Download this folder and extract it to the main game directory, likely "Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2020\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team"
Wrong shirt for Denmark in the World Championships
Bug description: Instead of the national jersey, the default Cyanide jersey shows up.
Solution: Click here to download a functioning one. Save that to the steam folder of the game under 3D\cyclist\cloth\team\nden and replace the existing one.

In this post you will find answers for the most frequently asked questions of the support thread and the support threads for previous databases.
Can I still use other DB's with this installed?
Yes, most of the features should work accordingly. It could appear though that minor facets of either this db or another one don't work as intended.
I followed the instructions but the db doesn't seem to work. There doesn't seem to be graphical mistakes though and there is no "mod checking failed" sign. What has gone wrong in the process?
PCM sometimes overwrites the .cdb, In most cases the problem can be solved by overwriting the OfficialRelease.cdb while you have the game open and just tap out in the home screen. Then everything should work fine.
Is this DB available in the Steam workshop?
No. There are some features of our DB that can't be inlcuded via the workshop and that are linked in a way to the rest of the DB that we can't just leave them out. It's possible that we release a "light" version of the DB for the Steam workshop at some point in the future, but that requires a decent amount of editing, so we can't promise anything.
Is there a way to download only the .cdb file?
Sure.

Can I still use other DB's with this installed? i.e WorldDB or PCMItalia or will using this one corrupt the others in some way? Im more than happy to use a PCMDaily DB but i have a 2014 DB that i really enjoy.
Thanks in advance and thanks for putting in the graft to make this a much better game! |

The 2014 db will work still. The only thing the Daily db would affect is the youngridercarac.xml, which determines how the regen riders are generated and how their stats will look, but as all workshop dbs just use the default file that comes with the game, I'd say using the PCMdaily one is an improvement anyway.

Since we don't have a dedicated stage maker on our team, we're limited to only being able to include races/stages that already exist. If you can point us to a functioning variant, we'll gladly add it

Quick question;
Will there be an update to add regens from countries that are in the game, but don't produce regens as of now? Countries like Uganda, Singapore and Laos, mainly to make careers with Asian and African teams a bit more interesting? If needed I should still have a rather big list with names and surnames somewhere...

Just bought the game, and I have dowloaded your database.
I have followed the installation carefully. I own almost every earlier games, so the installation isnt new to me, it's the same every time.
But nothing new appears in the game. Anybody have a clue, what i'm doing wrong?
Thank you for all your efforts years on end :-)

Did you maybe forget to put the OfficialRelease.cdb in the right directory? That would explain the issues, if you don't have the "mod checking failed" and the .cdb is still not working/showing the wrong names...
Retry to put the .cdb file in the right directory. Sometimes PCM overwrites the .cdb. If so, do it while you have the game open, then it should work at last.

You're right, must have slipped through the cracks. Click here to dowload the folder with the graphics. Simply put the folder into the game directory to
Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2020\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team
and it should show up in game.

Thank you for the quick answer! It fixed my problem! I realised I had not replaced the OfficialRelease.cdb in the D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2020\Database, and after having done that it now works. |

Tried having the game opened while I replaced the cdb, and it finally works. Thank you very much, now I will enjoy it! :-)
