Really not sure what to think of this. Really really happy with our huge jump to the top 10, won't say we're in the promotion fight now as our best months on paper and probably in practice were the ones we just left with lots of our favoured races for Houle, Rowe, Debesay and Bennett, and given how close together everything still kind of is I wouldn't say we're totally out of danger either if our last months are as poor as our first ones - but I feel a lot better about Xero after this update for sure.
On the other hand though I feel really shitty for Philips - obviously this update just showed that 3-4 months is a long time and that nothing is done yet but it's a really rough position at the moment Hopefully they can turn it around if they start to find themselves being in those breaks and attacks to bring in extra points.
Thanks for the write-up roturn and to you and everyone who did all the ranking files

There are still a bunch of surprising teams on unexpected places. Perhaps, Philips being the pinnacle of that observation.
Good comeback on our part, but still far from where I wished we could be. PTHC has been a massacre for us Tour of America better be good to us.
ISA, what a season!

VOID THE SEASON!!
Sorry, got carried away there
Where do I start? I guess I have to say it's a small consolation that other managers think that we should be much higher than this. So thank you all for that
Otherwise, it's been a torrid season! I was updating my team's numbers in my own tracker and it's no surprise why we're here. Yes, the leaders have been under-performing, but the others have not shown up all season. We have a PpRD of less than 4 over 52 RDs when Saber or Kelderman have not raced, and that's simply unacceptable. Our results over the past two seasons, have seen the points shared among 5-6 scorers, but not so this time, and I think that's a bigger problem than just the under-performances of our leaders. Add all the other randomness that PCM usually throws up, and you can see why it's gone south after the first month.
Where do we go from here? Well, I think the writing is on the wall now. Despite Kelderman and Marquez both having more than half their RDs left, it's going to take an unprecedented turnaround to stay up.
As you can see above, it's not your fault at all

See you next season then

Really tough luck for Philips here. IMO they should be atleast safe in the middle of the pack!
On the other end of the scale I can't get my arms down to see ISA - Hexacta doing this well. That's simply amazing, and I can't wait to race them in the PT if things stays the same
I'm also very pleased to see that UBS are looking to promote again, eventhough they have turned into somewhat of an elevator-setup.

Hard to think we only scored 4 pts in Romandie when Meintjes finished 2nd overall
You're absolutely right. Meintjes scored 125 points in that race - which isn't reflected in the individual rankings as well, as he still has the 214 points from the last update. Not sure why and how these points were lost.

Meintjes is fixed. The formulas were ruined at his part which would have been noticed later anyway but are fixed now.
This means the gap between them and Desigual in 6th is a bit bigger, in especially in teh projections. |
