Better from Ciolek this time, but I wouldn't mind if he had some help from our leadouts Bilbao again near the front which looks like a good sign for the hillier stages.
Congrats to McCormick, we all knew Holloway was an awesome signing

At least a bonus second for Vantomme! Better sprint than stage one, still room for improvement

Much better from Gaviria, although I would've liked to see him steal the boni seconds there.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good for you then, that the TdU is one of the races with the formula 1 bonus second system. |

Sometimes I do wonder how I ever made it out of the CT

Wow, that's a way to start scoring! Congrats to Ulrich Ulriksen for the first victory of one of the new teams! And I hope we won't meet Holloway on the road too often

Could have been better, could have been worse of Zabel. Also Xuban still has to learn how to get into a breakaway. Not sure what the young lad was doing there.

Gate is the rider, I want to see in breakaways, so I consider this stage another success for Jayco!

Ok so Houle definitely going purely for GC, ok here but not ideal in general looking at other races he's gone to so I hope it's just here. Congrats to Ulrich, awesome to have a first win so early and at the C1 level

Von Hoff has forgotten how to ride a bike! I mean I know it’s hard competition but he still should be able to sprint to at least a top 20. Joshua with another good top 30 finish and only 30 seconds back on GC. He needs to be careful the sprinters don’t get too big of a gap to the favourites. Or at leaast him.
Congrats Holloway in the win!

And that is why we pay him the big bucks, no other MCK rider in site but carries the sprint. Although kudos for Weiss getting into the break. Can not ask for a better start to the season.
Thanks for all the congratulations. Looking forward to a day in orange.
Will be interesting to see if our DS sends the boys to the front on stage 3 or lets the big-money teams earn their wages. |

Congrats Ulrich, it must feel great to snatch your first-ever victory so early in the season and especially in a C1 race. Well done!
Also, F1-like bonus here? *facepalm*

Well now I'm pissed off at Houle not sprinting

Good win for Valio to open their season! Gaviria limiting the damage is good here, was hoping for more from Cerny after his training though. A few more boni seconds along the way would be great.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, a good GC has gone out of the window now, not that I expected anything else tbh.

Another breakaway appearance by Gate. Fine. As expected no chance to be in the mix for something notable GC wise. Just keep attacking in the early stages of the days here.
