A few sprinters who would really have expected to already have 2019 contracts will no doubt now be sat nervously next to the phone! For those teams willing to look further afield than their own back yard, there are still some interesting riders available across pretty much all terrains. I'm sure those with an interest in Amateur teams will be be keeping an eagle-eye out to see if any riders slip through the CT draft that should really be in the professional ranks!
Of course there are also a few 'meme' riders out there with half-decent skills and fantastic back-stories in terms of MG history/results for some of the older dudes, or just great names that put a smile on everyones face - surely some will not have been able to resist!

Coming into the draft only one team knew for certain one rider they were getting, as Tryg Insurance Cycling Team had drawn first pick up. Away we go with the draft then, and the first pick is Norwegian youngster Torjus Sleen. His career starts now. |
