USB Keyboard stops working during stage.

My keyboard stops working randomly during some stages. It does not happen every stage , but sometimes my keyboard control does not work at the beginning of the stage, the only remedy is to aboard the race and restart it. Annoyingly it sometimes happens in the last 20km of the stage. I'm running Win7 with an USB keyboard. Dunno what it is as my usb mouse works flawlessly. Any one know a solution for this issue?

It's a bug that has been in the game forever. Thankfully, there is an easier solution than having to restart the stage: There is a (+) symbol in the UI in the 3D race which opens the race overview, find it and click on it with your mouse. Then click on the cyclists/teams tab and then click on any rider name. Magically, it restores the keyboard!

You won't believe it until you tried it, but it really works. Smile

If it's late in the race, pause the game first using the mouse so you don't panic.
