Can somebody explain me why i see double transfers in career mode? It lists Carapaz will ride for INEOS and for Movistar next season, Stybar for Astana and Corendon Circus etc.. Every rider has double contract for next season, it's all messed up.

Is a version of the DB with post-TDF notes planned? If so, when will it happen? |

The last update is still in progress, it will contains after TDF stats.
But I don't know when it will be ready. Maybe one of the RSMNews/PCM Daily Team can tell us!? |

Found a mistake in the DB, dunno if there are more of these as I've just started a career. I noticed stage 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Tour Down Under were Quebec stages and found the error in sta_stage. Those stage were given the value "Stage0" in "gene_sz_variant", so therefore couldn't load the stages correctly. Gonna check if it's also in other races
I use the DB Update 3 cdb
EDIT:
Same wtih Romandie, Dauphine, Birch Bank Tour and Tour of Guangxi

Are you sure this is a DB issue? It seems more like there is an issue with the name of the race in STA_race or the actual files in CM_stages. The game assigns a variant by itself at the start of a career. You'll see that "gene_sz_variant" where you refer to is empty in the base DB. |

"Anyone else have an issue with the first stage of the Torro Vedras tour? It should be an ITT but starts as a normal 8km race. " |

Found 2 issues: Torros Vedras 2012 first stage should be ITT. Hammer Limburg should be stage 1 hilly stage, stage 2 flat stage, stage 3 TTT . It has been wrongly set to 3 TTT days. |

Is there a solution for the planner bug (also does it break the game or is it just visual). I ran into it in the second season and I'd prefer not to have to give up my career.
I tried removing all stages except the 2019 variants for the TDF and Giro, but that didn't help. |

I think the problem is with stage 21 of TDF 2010. I got that variant in second season, and i went to editor and changed only stage 21 of TDF to 2011 version. It fixed planner bug for me.

Is it somehow possible to slow down evolution of attributes in career mode?
For example, Ivan Sosa is already at 84 mountain in January of second season. It should be more gradually development. Also, other riders grow pretty fast.

Hmm, interesting, I have the bug with both the Giro and Tour though, and I changed the variants to the 2018 version for the TDF (and I went from Dec 31st to Jan 2st a few times with old saves and got the bug with different variants). But I'll try and change it to the 2011 version and see if that does anything.
Edit: I tried it, didn't seem to do anything unfortunately. I also think it has something to do with how the 2019 variant is implemented, because the Vuelta is fine, and that didn't have the 2019 variant.
I simmed past the Giro, and it seems the bug is just visual, everything behaved as it should other than the annoying visual glitch.

You can change the rider characteristic XML files, I found some on the forum by Vertigo, those give rider development mostly in line with the stats as used in this data base. It doesn't affect how fast riders develop, but it does set far more realistic max values.

I only found youngriders xml by Kentaurus. I don't know who the Vertigo is.
It's kinda bullshit that 15 riders are set for 85 limit in sprint, mountain, hills, etc. Even some old riders... It would be OK for 3 to 4 of them.
Regarding the cyclist progression, I changed some numbers in dyn_cyclist_progression. I have no idea if that would help?
It has rows like VERY SLOW, SLOW, MEDIUM, FAST, VERY FAST. Is that somehow connected to riders potential or something else?

Hi guys,
I guess I found out a way to fix the issue of the planner, it's all about the "constant" in the sta_stage's table of the database.
actually you have to get a perfect match between what is filled out in the collumns "gene_i_stage_number" and "constant" otherwise the game won't be able to calculate the end date of the GT.
I'm not sure I'm clear enough so I'm gonna show you few screenshots to better explain myself.
https://www.noels...9128-1.jpg
as you can see, there is no correspondance between the collumns "gene_i_stage_number" and "constant", wich leads to errors in the planner.
https://image.noe...9130-2.jpg
so, all you have to do is fill out the table this way for each stages of both giro and tour de france
https://image.noe...9135-3.jpg
then you'll get this result
not tried in career but I would be suprised if any mistake occured
hope it will be helpful |

Maybe the DB Team can use this fix for the last update, solution sounds good.
This bug should be the biggest problem not solved yet.
Hopefully we will now get the last update with bugfixes and final stats? |

I found another issue with the Austrian National ITT. Strangely it ended in a mass sprint and the TT was won by a sprinter with 64 in TT. Please fix it...
And can anyone tell the makers of this game that Sunweb is German, not Dutch. The development. team of Sunweb is set correctly and in the DB Sunweb is set to German, but in the team listing it shows a Dutch flag.
BTW Thanks for your hard work on the DB!! |
