How does that happen if you just choose "official release" in the selection menu when you start a race/career? Do you have consecutive screenshots? Smile

I can only pick 'Default'. Is that right?

Yes thats's right. there must select default.
That's a mistake in the description. there must be select "default" instead of "officialRelease"

I'm getting the next error message after the installation of the update:
You are trying to create a game with an improperly modded database.

Before the update everything worked well.

Thanks, it seems like for some reasons stages are missing. Did you try to just copy in the stage folder from the update again? Smile

Yes, I tried that.
I looked for the missing stages in the update folder. But they aren't there.
Can you confirm that they are missing in the download folder, or was my download corrupt?

No, these stages are not missing. these are all file files of the original game which are not used in the db. Seems like you have not emptied your cm stages folder before installing the db

That's what I've done three times already. But each and every time, I only get to see the original PCM DB. I haven't got a clue what I'm doing wrong as I went through three clean installs and updates.

Indeed, none of those are and none of those should be in our db. As Löfkvist said, these Stage Files should be deleted. Youre using our "official release" cdb right?

Yes, I tried that.
I looked for the missing stages in the update folder. But they aren't there.
Can you confirm that they are missing in the download folder, or was my download corrupt?


Indeed, none of those are and none of those should be in our db. As Löfkvist said, these Stage Files should be deleted. Youre using our "official release" cdb right?


I removed all files in my CM_stages folder where PCM is installed before I copied the new files. And I'm using the .cdb file of the update.

if you have this error, then copy the officialRelease.cdb from our DB again to Documents / Pro cycling Manager 2018 / mod / default
It may be that Steam constantly checks with you whether all files are original and then replaced our cdb file with the original cdb file.

Open your game, press Ctrl + tap to minimize the game. Now copy our officialRelease.cdc by default and replace the existing one. Now go back to the game and select default. now it should work again.

For some reason, in the target screen, the "4 jours de Dunkerque" gets displayed as blank (see bottom of the screenshot)

When I installed this a folder was created under C:/...steam/...../Pro Cycling Manager 2018

called something like: /RSM-news/PCM.daily 2019 DB

Have you got the same, and if you do did you copy the three folder inside that to:
C:/...steam/...../Pro Cycling Manager 2018 ?

It didn't work for me installed into default database, but I still had previous PCM Daily folder and pasted the .cdb there and it worked

Im not talking about the *.cdb, as that go to the "document" folder, not the main game folder.

I was talking about these folders:
CM_Stages
Gui
3D

They need to go to the same folder that host the execute file - and in my case I had to move them manually.
