For some of the riders you mention, they have the passed results, but this year it was just meh in the Ardennes, which should be the main source for the hill stat imo. Martin DNF, 61th and 18th in Ardennes. Gilbert 13th, 24th and 31th. Albasini 3x DNF. Kwiat 31th, 57th, 29th.

Neither of them giving the impression of coming close to a good result either, as far as I can remember.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

In my opinion if you give Vanendert 81 you must give Alaphilippe 83, Valverde 82/83, Dan Martin 81, Kwiatkowski 80, Gilbert 79, Albasini 79, Ion Izagirre 78/79, Kreuziger 78, Barguil 78, etc...

most of the riders you mention have higher mtn than Vanendert which is a significant helper. Only two haven't.

Gilbert is really not this kind of rider anymore but still has high flat and even higher res. Albasini is also not as good as Vanendert this season.

After such a great season i see comparison between Ackermann and Viviani, being argued that he should have 79?

Probably he has not the best sprint, but he is the best sprinter atm! will you ever admit it? He's so consistent during all the year, now performing for two years.
2rd in UWT ranking, way ahead than others sprinters (Kristoff 11th, Demare 15th and so on) except Sagan ofc that is more than a sprinter.

Try to go with Quickstep and Viviani in Career and tell me if you can EVER take 18 season wins, including NC. With Expert difficulty, which is still easy tbh.

Why i see only Pogacar DB Stats Spreadsheet?

Marco- We've had this debate with Viviani numerous times now. The 79/82 has been arrived at by general consensus with the stats team for the often previously mentioned reasons. Also opinion on the forum is split as well with Viviani. What I suggest as people often do with a rider like Sagan is just change those stats in their own DB that they don't agree with.

As for comparing Viviani and Ackermann let's look at this in more detail. but let's look at the vital stats as sprinters one has 79/82 and the other 79/78. One is a natural sprinter in Viviani so therefore has much higher acc and the other Ackermann a power sprinter and the way they are statted is that the power sprinter will have a higher front end and look to hold on once the sprint starts whereas the acc sprinter can sprint later and win. Ackermann like Kristoff and Greipel now need high top ends to give them a possibility of winning. With the right leadout Viviani should beat Ackermann most times but Ackermann should have a chance of winning as he did at Ride London.

Quintana is so overrated, 80 mountain..

Question is not who's better in the game, but what should improved realism. Viviani in real is the most performing sprinter during all the season and kinda in 2017 too.
Meanwhile in the game he will never do anything close, as already said try to go with Quickstep and Viviani in Expert and tell me if you could ever reach 18 season wins (most of them in UWT Races)

Tafiolmo
If there were a consistency stat then Viviani would be high in this but unfortunately there isn't one but by being a Quickstep rider in my testing they have the best leadout train which gives Gaviria and Viviani the most opportunities to win. Also no use including his GT victories in this either because he won those sprints in a weak field where he was the best sprinter with the best team and unless he has bad form should win those sprints in game with the same startlists

Based upto todays stage Movistar leaders will be (unless something drastic happens over final few days)

Landa 81
Quintana 80
Valverde 79
Carapaz 78

I have 6 wins with him and I'm still in february but to be fair I upped his sprint stat.

Mate you cannot give stats based on 1 stage
Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.

He doesn't say that it's based on one stage

In my opinion:
Nairo 81
Landa 80
Valverde 79
Carapaz 78
Amador 77

What do you think about Enric Mas???

Rememver guys, Nairo Quintana was in the Tour too, he is more tired than others

'He was in the Tour too, he is more tired' --> when he sucks
'He is always better in Vuelta after riding the Tour' --> when he wins

Imo it's now 2 seasons Nairo fails to prove he's worthy of 81 or more mountain. If the top stat is 81 (which I think should be, seen the fact there isn't a dominating climber), I think 79/80 is correct, maybe with a relatively high REC stat.

These are some of the stats I use in my db and it gives quite a realistic experience

81: Simon Yates (high acc, high res, medium rec)
81: Froome (medium acc, medium res, high rec)
80: Dumoulin (low acc, high res, high rec)
80: Quintana (high acc, low res, high rec)
80: Landa (medium acc, high res, high rec)
80: Porte (medium acc, low res, low rec)
80: Bardet (high acc, medium res, high rec)
80: Thomas (medium acc, medium res, high rec)
79: Roglic (medium acc, high res, high rec)
79: Kruijswijk (low acc, medium res, high rec)
79: Pinot (high acc, medium res, medium rec)
79: Nibali (medium acc, high res, high rec)
79: Bernal (high acc, medium res, medium rec)
79: Lopez (high acc, medium res, medium rec)
78: Valverde (high acc, medium res, medium rec)

Roglic, Kruiswijk, Uran?

Nibali, Froome are in my opinion underrated with these stats.

Simon Yates does not deserve so good stats just because of a good Vuelta

Forgot about those, Roglic and Kruijswijk I rate 79, both high rec. Uran is disappointing this season. I don't think 2 bad days should erase the first 2 weeks of Yates' Giro this year.

Ollfardh
I think we're all looking forward to how Yates handles the 3rd week this time. If he can hold onto this, he should get the (shared) highest MO stat imo. Beating Froome and Dumoulin two weeks in the Giro and Quintana, Lopez and Kruijijijiswijijijck 3 weeks in the Vuelta would make him the best GT climber.

Maybe its just me but just because 1 rider is having 1 good season it should not make him the best. IMO Froome, Nibali and Quintana are still the best grand tour candidates if they're in good shape.

That should be reflected in the game. Sort of like FIFA; just because Ronaldo is having a bad WC does'nt mean his stats should fall drasticly and EA statsmakers knows that.
Just because Salah is having 1 good season in PL he should not be rated as THE best player.

Good for us we can decide ourself. Otherwise we've never agree in PCM stats.
