No, no, no, no, no. That's not okay.
Oh no.
At the age of 36 what he'd gain from PED usage?
An extension to his career perhaps. Knew he couldn't keep up with the pace at 36 but wasn't ready to hang up his wheels. Probably on a decent contract at Bahrain.
I'm waiting for the Sky link comments

C'mon, we all know Sky is too sophisticated to use EPO for their doping system

It’s a side effect for marginal gains. |

So does Rob Power.
Schachmann could apparently join Bora instead of staying with QST.

Paris-Tours is going to have a new profile with 9 gravel sectors and 7 hills in the final part of the race. Have to say I love this attempt to make this race more interesting. It is not like the old profile was really bad, but think this revamp could prove to be a great success.

Also I love these pictures from the new Antwerp Port Epic. I like this new trend of trying to create somehow unique races instead of flat sprint races.

EF Drapac sign Luis Villalobos, Mexican TT champion who tode a good Tour of Utah last month. Contract valid from June 2019, though, as he’ll still ride with Aevolo until then.
And that new route for Paris-Tours looks promising. Race can become more spectacular and unpredictable. |

Antwerp Port Epic looks epic, I had VIP tickets but had to decline unfortunately. I did get a tour of the offroad sections last year and it looked great. Hope it becomes a .HC race soon so some PT teams might show up.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yes, what a fool to sign for the most successful stage racing team in the peloton.

Good move. Normally not a big fan of him joining Sky, but with Aqua Blue folding, it`s a great step forward for him. |

Is that even allowed? After all Sky already had 30 riders under contract.

Since when do UCI rules apply to Team Sky?

Teams can sign up to 3 stagiaires per year, these are riders that join after August 1st, ontop of the 30 pre-existing contracted riders.
For Sky this would be Dunbar, plus Mark Donovan and Ethan Hayter.
So Sky are 100% correct inside the UCI rules.

But afaik Dunbar isn't a stagiaire but a full rider. Or at least that's the impression I got.

A Stagiaire = Any rider who joins a team after August 1st.
Any rider. They do not have to be a neo-pro. They can have been on another team before August.

Agree with TMM.
That said it`s very rare that a professional cyclist signs as stagiare. Usually they come from CT teams and not PCT. But with a team folding, it`s a different situation already. |

Ah that explains it. Thought there was a distinction there. So that means that Dunbar won't be able to ride WT races right?
