Alright, I have a question. After carefully planning my season with objectives and planner for the Yates brothers, I now see that they have a sudden drop in their condition, messing up their form for Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico (85% instead of 96%). They didn't ride anywhere outside of what was planned and when I check the training schedule, everything looks the same as I planned, except for this odd drop. Is this some kind of a drop that's being added by the game before reaching peak form? I noticed it for other riders too, like Ewan and Durbridge.
Luckily, both brothers won a stage and Simon ended 6th in Paris-Nice while Adam got 3rd in Tirreno, but I was hoping for more. This weird drop in fitness might be related to it. Anyone else experiencing the same? |

I do not recall anything similar. Could it be an injury, even one that forces someone to spend 2 -3 days not racing? There's some randomness to the form (I tend to hit 100 with some riders a few days later than the planned moment) but 10% seems like a lot. |

Since it affects most of my team, I don't think it's injury. I've also noticed that fatigue is now coming up for some riders, while in the original planning, there was none of that. Slightly disappointing aspect of an otherwise nice game. |

I went up to 120 without any noticeable downsides. I almost believe there's no upper limit, but riders will get annoyed if they don't get around 80-90 race days in total. |

I saw somewhere that leaders should get around 80 race days and helpers should get around 105 race days. |

Perhaps I'm understanding something wrong about the planning, but could anyone explain this to me? I set up Kreuziger to peak at the Amstel Gold Race with good form from Catalunya on, but now it looks like his form will be a disaster in the classics. He started racing in Strade Bianche & Tirreno-Adriatico, followed by Milano-Sanremo and currently Catalunya. I just wonder what is going on.

oke snap. I though it always was around 70 . So all my riders have around 70 racedays and some helpers even less... So probably have to enlist for some more tours .
@Blueprint. I have had this issue 1 time. With Trentin in the Giro. He was in form the first 4 days or so. Then his form peak ended and suddenly his fitness dropped to 78%. But in general when the Form Peak is over they still remain on around a form of 97+. Sometimes happens that my form peak comes to soon.
Just ended my Giro yesterday, which was won by Nibali. Last 5 stages were a lot of fun, lots of breakaways who were won. Was some though battling for the mountain jersey, but managed to get it with Nieve. Yates and Chaves where in topform the last days. Almost messed up my 3th spot with the TT. But luckly in stage 20 (the last mountain stage) I managed to destroy Roglic (2nd place) and he lost around 6 min . Which gave me the 3th Chaves and 4th Yates spot in the Giro. Also won the white and sprinters jersey.
Regarding the AI level. I feel a bit indifferent. Breakaways are almost always with the same riders. However its quite fun to see that whenever for example a riders like Aru, who lost too much time to get top 10, join a breakaway to ride for a stagewin.
It would also cool to see if the AI would choose to also ride in a train up to the mountain like sky does. It is what I do, and it works great. Even when a Bardet/Landa(who attacked every single time and lost...) attacks I just ride 90 with a helper and catch them up. Eventually I finish it with Yates/Chaves and only Nibali and Landa seem to be able to follow...While the stats of especially Chaves are lower than other GC riders.. |

I just finished my first season with Virtu Pro. I started the career with the motivation to make a new danish sponsored worldtour team. The objective for the first season was to promote to pro continental and sign some new riders mostly danish, but also Scandinavian, German and American riders.
Anyway it was a pretty great season with a lot of points and wins (think Virtu Pro was the most or second most winning continental team of the season) and one of the youngsters even had the leaders jersey for two days at PostNord Danmark Rundt.
Since my sponsors gave me a considerable increase in the budget for 2019 in chose to extend the partnership for the new season (also there wasn't any offers from other danish sponsors).
The objective succeed and the team is now in the Pro Conti division. The next step is to plan for the new season. Thinking about trying to stay in the Pro Conti division for a season to establish the team, develop riders and the try and take the step up at the end of the next season.
The roster as of January 1st, 2019: |

Just wanted to share one of my funniest moments in a while on PCM ^^ (Not trying to advertise this video, I just found it hilarious while playing)
I tried embedding it under here, but it doesn't show on my browser, so here's the link: https://youtu.be/...U8?t=9m46s |

In April with Holdsworth Team (WorldDb Base). Having a great time.
Team has two decent riders- Russels Downing and Bjorn Thurau.
So far have won two tours (2.2) with Downing - Tour of Rhodes and Circuit des Ardennes- both very close. He has also won couple of stages
Thurau had won top 5 in a 2.1 race- Coppa del Bartoli or whatever its called.
All very, very enjoyable. Sponsors are delighted but Downing is retiring at end of season. |

Decided to not spend an epic amount of time and effort on planning, so ended up choosing a career with Torku Åžekerspor to make cycling great again in Turkey. Planned the entire season in less than an hour, now let's see how badly we will suck |

Hi. Have you deleted the original saved game, and load a weekly saved game?
If so, when you load a weekly saved game, the original fitness program changes!!! Already in PCM 17 was the same. |

I've downloaded the Variants Pack from Steam. I was looking for the DB on the Editor but can't find it. Do you know where it is located? |

While we did suck in the GP Laguna Porec, we already took our first win in stage 1 of the Tour of Antalya. Proud of my team and Ivan Balykin, who got a perfect lead-out from Onur Balkan and managed to overtake Roy Jans in the final meters. This might actually be fun
1 Ivan Balykin Torku Seker Spor 4h16'10
2 Roy Jans Cibel - Cebon s.t.
3 Yury Trofimov Radio Popular - Boavista s.t.
4 Alexander Kamp Team Virtu Cycling s.t.
5 Paolo Totò Sangemini - MG. K VIS - Vega s.t.
6 Manuel Penalver Team Trevigiani Phonix - Hemus 1896 s.t.
7 Thomas Stewart Jlt Condor s.t.
8 Onur Balkan Torku Seker Spor s.t.
9 Frederico Figueiredo Sporting / Tavira s.t.
10 Robby Cobbaert Cibel - Cebon s.t.
Finished very nicely too with a second stage win and points jersey for Balykin, while Raileanu took the climber's jersey, top-5 GC and ended up as best young rider. Not much in terms of Turkish success, but the sponsor is very happy and so am I.

I simmed a whole season with the team I'm gonna play with. After the year got 7 leaders! No new riders, but 7 leaders instead of five. |

Am I the only one experincing too low budget increase to make it possible for smaller teams to get into the world tour division?
I'm in my second season with Virtu Pro Cycling and having a great season in the pro continental division. However my sponsor will only increase the budget by around 10k (from $71000 to around $81000) so it does not really seem there is much of a chance of getting promoted with their new index system. |
