Eventhough I have to get used to the format, I somehow feel like this has got some nice flair in it. No matter that it's Sky Pfft

Thanks for reading / commenting!

Sorry about format - is it the amount of [spoiler] use? I went with this to avoid people suffering a mass of images loading. Still a work in progress.

Yeah the spoilers aren't my preferred style to read. Or at least four per post. Stopping image flooding is nice of you but why not do one per post? Smile
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I am a minimalist person so spoilers suited me, but the amount of clicking is excessive I agree!

Thank you for comments - I will change.

I feel format change is an improvement already! Thank you both for comments.

* I will keep attempting to improve format as I begin this story *

Winner: Nikita Zharoven (Nankang - Dynatek)

A bumpy first stage of the tour gave the breakaway a slim chance of staying clear and that is exactly what happened when the sprinter's team failed to catch all-day stay away Nikita Zharoven, who took the stage with over a minute on the chasing peloton.

Giro d'Italia Preview

GC Favourites

Vincenzo Nibali (Astana Pro Team)

The 30 year old from Astana Pro Team is the number one favourite for Giro d'ltalia. Over the last weeks the results of Nibali were very promising. Nibali ended on a 3th place in Tour de Romandie. Next he also won Giro del Trentino. During Giro del Trentino, Nibali also won 2 stages.

Domenico Pozzovivo (Ag2r La Mondiale)

He's just a step below the top favourite but the cyclist of Ag2r La Mondiale still has a good chance on winning Giro d'ltalia. He had one of the best preparations of all for this race. An important race preparing for this race is Liege - Bastogne - Liege, Pozzovivo took the 3th place. He went on for another good result in Giro del Trentino where he finished 4th.

Fabio Aru (Astana Pro Team)

The number three favourite is Aru, he's not on the same level as the top 2 favourites but he's the best of the rest. Preparing for this race, Aru was able to take the 2nd place in Giro del Trentino.

Ryder Hesjedal (Team Cannondale - Garmin)

Spot four is for the 34 year old, it would be a surprise if he wins the race since he's not one of the main favourites, but we still see an important role for him in this race. During the buildup to this race, Hesjedal took the 5th place in Giro del Trentino.

Rafal Majka (Tinkoff-Saxo)

The cyclist of Tinkoff-Saxo is the last on the list, he might not win Giro d'ltalia, but we believe he can play an important part. An important race preparing for this race is Tour de Romandie, Majka took the 4th place. Next to that he achieved 8th place in Giro del Trentino.
