In the end a shit end to a shit tour. Glad I only watched less than 3 hours, where 2 hours spent on the Roubaix stage of that.

Ok stop this nonsense. Thomas didn't gift shit. He was already losing buckets of time on the climb (it was in virtual gps on the screen)
This backs it up
look at 28 (km28) that,s your climb. Dumoulin's speed was higher than Froome and much higher than Thomas.
Thomas blew himself up |

Froome can do Friendly faces but he is happy as badger was when Lemond won tour 1986.
Thomas is happy to have Dumoulin between them |

Roglic said he did his normal power, but the others were simply stronger. |

Skybots was flying today.
Froome was empty and few times dropped yesterday. Today he was stunning...
also Kwiatek and Thomas.
This is weirdest tour that I have seen.
Everything has gone different direction from that I have predicted and expected. |

Except Contador in 2007 (who was only 25 and had only ridden one GT prior) how far back do we have to go to find someone who got his GT top 10 by winning the Tour de France?

Lucien Aimar 1966
fun fact in present day it would be Hinault, who won his first GT (Vuelta) in 1978 and then won the Tour in 1978, similair with Fignon in 1983 (7th in Vuelta, then won the Tour)
