Pro Cyclist, upgrade Potential or current stats?
jesse31300
Hello everyone,

After finally finding out how the Lv up system works in PCM18, i have a question.
What do you suggest to do after leveling up. Upgrading your stats right away, or upgrade the potential to make yourself a better rider.
Is this also determined by your current age or current rating?

Greets,
Jesse

Still in my first year and chose Mountain and Stage Race to start with. I prefer to level up at the start as it will help you get some results which gets XP faster.

I started as a baroudeur with stage races and my mountain limit was 79 at the start (world class potential), every level up i did was climber or stage races (mainly climber to upgrade the mountain potential more than it did with stage races) and my mountain limit did not change from 79, reached it and stuck on it, despite the level up showing that the limit was going up, so i don't see any impact in the potential upgrade. Unfortunately it seems just smoke and mirrors to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong! but from what I read, I believe you only chose stat upgrade? You need to update the potential, meaning, spending a a level up on increasing a certain potential and not upgrading your stats. Smile

Well, I did not understand it that way, makes sense... Guess you are the one correcting me! Smile

I agree. I leveled up twice while being in continental in order to dominate in races there, so that I can level faster. Next level up I might see if there is a good profile for expanding potential. (Currently a Climber/Sprinter, really lacking in TT)
