Subasic tonight has been as bad as Karius in the UCL final. Can't win a final if your goalkeeper can't make a save with the ball less than a meter from him.

Poor defending from both sides. The GK especially were disgraceful, despite an otherwise brilliant tournament from them both.
Spectacular final. Deserving winners. Inspirational runner-ups.

Modrić won UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid so he did a very good season this year.
But Ronaldo did it too and he scored very nice goals with Portugal during this WC. |

Modric should still be winning the Ballon d'Or in all honesty. He's had an absolute cracker of a season and if we're going by results then he won a UCL and led an underdog team to the World Cup Final in which he was awarded the golden ball.

Tough on Croatia. The first goal was not a free-kick but I do think the penalty was the correct decision. His hand moved towards the ball which is the key factor. The whole deliberate thing is a load of rubbish because no one means to deliberately handle the ball (except Suarez in 2010  ).
Overall a very good tournament. Some hopes that England might be able to develop and make a good fist of getting the the latter stages of the next few tournaments after the absolute dross they have served up in the last 10 years or so.
The count down for the new season can begin. Come on Birmingham. Keep Right On!!!

Actually voted on Messis goal really like it for some reason those smooth touches without the ball touching the ground and then with wrong foot.
But I´m sure that it will not win there was alot of other nice goals, Queresmas is high up aswell, Pavard, all free kicks yeah hard to choose |
