why did Froome sprint?
Destroy mentally rival, even after he has won already?

Fresh as daisy again.
Fuck you Froome ..really.

What’s the need of this, ok, everyone has got it. Sky is the best, you are the best, no need to impose that on the final mountain sprint.

Kalach
Yeah fuck you Froome
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

I really enjoyed the first 18 stages of the Giro but, for right or wrong, I actually haven't caught up with yesterday's stage and only fleetingly watched today. Perhaps it'll fade and I'll get round to watching the carnage up the Fenestre...or perhaps I'll just pretend the Giro was 18 stages long this year Pfft

Shame I feel that way really, it was a good 2 and a half weeks. Time is a healer.

It's not a mess, it's the perfectly normal due process that is currently happening. The "mess" is that details were leaked in December when it should all have stayed private until a much later stage in the case.
The issue now is that the whole situation was made public months ago, so we expect to be kept up to date with what is happen, except that's not supposed to happen and it isn't being shared. This leaves everyone confused and frustrated.
But neither the UCI, WADA or Froome are doing anything wrong by staying quiet and carrying on with everything else. Especially in a situation where Froome can actually come out of everything without punishment and an apology from WADA.

I will say, perhaps there should be a change to the system to help avoid such situations in the future. Although equally a way to avoid this is to not have it all leaked.

I think I have reached the point where I wouldn't be outraged if someone took Froome out the race with a baseballbat tomorrow. Am I a horrible person now?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Only if you wouldn't do the same to all the other currently or previously doped cyclists, and all the other previously or currently doped athletes in other sports.

mess is getting bigger and more messy.
What next?
Froome wins Giro (how ,does not matter)..even Vegni (biggest coat at giro issue) is confused now.
If Froome get's he's 9 month ban..he will lose Vuelta and Giro wins (getting same level as stripped GT wins with bertie..Smile)
Doping case is not private matter. Leaked results? Who was hiding them and why?
Positive doping case..bang ..we have ban. Was it Armstong private matter that he was not tested positive..or UCI hide some times he's close call blood results?

What next?
Wada and UCI will leave all that for ASO decide?
If ASO has balls..they stand for: No solution on this doping case. Sky is forced to leave Chris home.
Tour has suffered enough with bad doping cases.
But we can laugh our ass off, when Froome starts TdF and cruising also GC win there. Last time managed do that super doper Pantani (and even then thanks to freezed Ulle at terrible weather day).

Also I dont understand italians double standards on this case. Remember when Valverde was on Puerto list and spaniards refused to give him out. Italians decided then ..that Piti wont race their soil. Even passed TdF for that , because it did pass alps in Italia.
Now they paying 1,4mil. to get him in there. When doping case comes out..they announce that what ever Giro result is. It will stand.

I know all that should be at Sky doping thread. But..fuck..this bastard won Giro today.

No-one hides those initial results. But they are supposed to stay confidential until they are B-sample confirmed and an official ban is ready to be handed out.
It gets more complicated on AAF's because an AAF is not a simple yes/no doping failure. An AAF can be accidently caused, so the reason these arn't supposed to be shared is that. An AAF is not nessesarily cheating so to maintain a riders privacy they do not have to be immediately shared.
It's the same sort of privacy reasoning that TUE's are not publicly shared either.

Positive doping case..bang ..we have ban. Was it Armstong private matter that he was not tested positive..or UCI hide some times he's close call blood results?

Little bit tired of explaining this a ton over the past 6 months, but an AAF is different to a failed EPO test. An AAF does not carry and immediate punishment or provisional suspension. That is why Froome is still well within his right to keep racing.

Armstrong's issues and the UCI's corruption at that time have no relevance to the current Froome case.
Luckily the UCI don't control all aspects of anti-doping, with that deferring to the local anti-doping agency under the WADA umbrella. So in this day and age complaints at hiding test results can as much rest at WADA level as the UCI.

What next?

Froome goes to hearing with the UCI and WADA to explain his case. Not a specific date but signs are this could happen in June.
Depends how long all that takes but we could have a result to all this before the Tour starts.
Although that doesn't include any extra appeals to CAS which could drag this saga towards a full year.

Wada and UCI will leave all that for ASO decide?

Neither WADA nor the UCI can ban Froome from racing the Tour specifically, not before the official hearings.
WADA and the UCI cannot stop ASO from allowing Froome to race, there is no rule for this.
ASO do have an ability to stop Froome racing the TDF. They can refuse him, or Sky, entry to the race if they deem them to damage the race. Although given at that point there'd still be no official ban, and that Froome could still be cleared, doing so would put ASO in a tough legal position and be open to a lawsuit from Sky/Froome if he does get cleared.

Now they paying 1,4mil. to get him in there. When doping case comes out..they announce that what ever Giro result is. It will stand.

The Giro doesn't get to decide whether the race result remains valid or not, that depends on what the ruling against Froome would be.
He would definitely lose the Vuelta result, but any result since then could remain valid. If the ban is back-dated to the Vuelta then he would lose the Giro as well (assuming a minimum 9-month suspension). Vegni can't stop that being taken away. If the ban only starts from the hearing date, then the Giro could remain (honestly it all gets a little complex and depends on what the exact ruling is) Froome's.
Either way, it has nothing to do with RCS and everything to do with the UCI. They decide what results stand or dissapear.

I know all that should be at Sky doping thread. But..fuck..this bastard won Giro today.

Well he either won it yesterday when he took the Rosa. Or he wins it tomorrow at the end of the final day. Today was just waiting Pfft

Fuck Froome, fuck Wada/CAS/UCI and your reasoning Manx (yeah i know you are not defending Froome or whatever, nothing presonal)...this should be handled in weeks ,not months or a year. No actual facts change over a year, it is what it was a months ago...a fraud. Rest is just lawyers bullshit, that should be cut out. Give explanation within a month since failed test or face two year ban, simple as that. Without it, cycling is doomed as credible sport for ages

I agree with you Smile
The system is rather broken, especially when you're double the limit!
But anger and frustration should be aimed at changing the wider system, not the people in the broken system. And that anger should be kept in context of what is actually going on and why. The whole situtation is idiotic, but there is consistent reasoning behind it all and that should be kept in mind. We might not like the situation but no-one is out of line or doing anything wrong, we just need new systems to begin with.
