They are all freakin inconsistent in this race, Mitchelton-Scott most of all. Agreed. Chaves very strong in first week then nowhere all race, Yates flies in the first 2 weeks, gets dropped yesterday, then loses almost 20 minutes on Finestre alone. Actually I think that Mitchelton's doping program went wrong somewhere.

Too bad I missed Finestre and the whole buildup, the last 30k were a bit boring to watch since Froome looked like he had in the bag and Dumoulin was spent.
Chapeau to the Froomedog.

He rode like a champion, but it's a pity I cannot root for this champion. |

My reaction exactly. And bad for cycling that what could have been a great stage will mostly be part of doping narrative. Maybe there is some poetic justice in Froome and Team Sky getting a memorable victory that many fans won't want to remember. |

Boy, if Froome somehow manages to defend his Salbutamol case and comes away with no sanction and a clearence from the UCI/WADA/CAS this will go down as one of the best ranged attacks ever!
But that's a lot of if to get through.
And at least no-ones still calling Yates a doper

So is this a good day for cycling or a bad day for cycling?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A bad day. Because on a truly good day that question wouldn't even enter our heads. |

Back in 2006 I was not regular cycling follower. But we know what happened to Landis. Hope Froome is clean. |

Who is Bilbao and Oomen? Not seen these riders featured in Giro ever and now they are in top 10. Lining up for Zubeldia awards. |
