I was no fan of raising that minimum wage depending on the scouting report so i wouldnt be against it - although ofc teams planned their scouting based on that information so maybe testing it for this season with the current set-up and discussing it again for next season might be the way to go. Would be cool to have a decision on this soonish so that we can adapt our further scouting plans accordingly

Yeah I believe min wage for no competition and secret bids for multi-team interest is the way to go.

Okay looks like noone is in favor of using the wages displayed in the scouting reports so uncontested riders will all go for the minimum of 100. You can ignore the wages in the reports. |

Talents Signing
As announced before it is possible from round 8 on to make contracts with talents you have found via Scouting for next season. As now August (=8th month) started we also proceed into round 8 in Scouting. If you want to sign talents please donwload this file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ojpm4pt...ingR8.xlsx
This file is easy to handle:
#1 Enter your team ID
#2 Enter the ID of the riders you want to sign into the respective column (orange coloured). The other cells will automatically be filled out.
#3 Send me the table via PM
All talents that you successfully sign, will get a wage of 100. If several teams want to contract a rider, there will be a silent auction. The team bidding the highest will get the rider. If two teams bid the same, the team that found the rider earlier will get him.
You do not need to have completed 7 rounds of Scouting, but it's of course beneficiary if you have. Of course you can still continue Scouting before sending in bids, if you haven't reached round 7 or even if you haven't even started.

They do use next seasons budget, not this seasons one. So people with 0 now can still sign talents!

Ok, I have handed in my round 8 signing wish - just one rider. I thought that I'd get to scout round 8 first, but Bikex told me it's the other way round. Wish me luck!

Talents Signing Part 2
I'm very happy about so many teams participating in Scouting, much more than in recent seasons.

Not all talents a team might have bid on, could be signed uncontested. If several managers bid on a talent, there needs to be another bid, which can be higher than 100. Whoever bids the highest now gets a rider for the wage he offered. If two teams still bid the same, the team that has found a rider earlier has priority with Scouts > Packs. If that still doesn't decide a winner the talent will decide with a random generator.
If you need to do rebids, I'll send you a table that looks similar to this:

Copy the table, replace the 100 to your new bid and send the edited table back to me.

Most excited about Ignac Kolecko obviously, 19 years old, 69fl, 67hi and 68sp. Good to have alongside Kovacic I'd say.

Spoiler This is partly for selfish "talent team that didn't spend any scouting money and got terrible riders" reasons  but also for not enjoying the process as much, not a fan of the new system but I can kinda see the benefits and it's in now, so not complaining

Will the riders we sign increase in age by a year next season when we get to use them? Will they get the year-end stat increase that all other (eligible) riders get in the off-season?
