This is the team I propose. It obviously needs cio93 to confirm:
Cyclist ID | Last Name | First Name | Original Team | Avenir Team | 617 | Herklotz | Silvio | Team Puma - SAP | Team Puma - Dexia | 5315 | McKenna | Sean | Team Puma - SAP | Team Puma - Dexia | 482 | Farantakis | Stylianos | Festina - Dexia | Team Puma - Dexia | 5928 | Antonijevic | Goran | Festina - Dexia | Team Puma - Dexia | 806 | Van Niekerk | Aidan | Festina - Dexia | Team Puma - Dexia | 1896 | Fabbro | Matteo | Festina - Dexia | Team Puma - Dexia |
Starting lineup:
11 Silvio Herklotz [81MO|75HI|72TT]
12 Sean McKenna [69MO|69HI|62TT]
13 Matteo Fabbro [69MO|67HI|65TT]
14 Aidan van Niekerk [67MO|69HI|64TT]
15 Goran Antonijevic [71FL|67SPR|69ACC]
16 Stylianos Farantakis [66FL|70SPR|72ACC]
I suggest, that the team will ride in Team Puma's jersey and kit. Two spots would be open in terms of maximum squad size.
Maybe cio, or someone else have a suggestion as to which riders could potentially ride here? I haven't really gotten a clue which riders are suggested where at this point.

If an 8-men-squad ain't allowed for this team, you can drop Cooper from the roster.

Not sure if you want sprinter Roman Lutsyshyn in this team, but Mark Padun, future Avenir winner, could very well be an excellent domestique here. Both are available should you want them in this team

Too bad, you don't own them, nor loan them then.

No he hasn't. Plenty of riders are still looking for a team. Just ask somebody who is looking for a team for one or two riders.

To end a discussion before it begins: he didn't. Simple like that. It's up to cio to confirm for which team Herklotz will ride. And your team will still take part.

But I'm with 5 riders confirmed - to participate I need to have 7 riders?

Just add my two riders if you want. They're on page 1. |

I confirm Morne Van Niekerk is eligible to ride with the Project:Africa team.
Could Compal and Meiji form a joint Asian team maybe?

Ivan, you can only nominate your own riders (or loaned out riders) and you can only suggest that others get together for your team but the other managers have to agree.
Also you dont need 7 men for your team, nominating is basically enough to guarantee that your riders can compete - e.g. i have a 6 rider team which is fully okay already. If necessary trek will combine smaller teams and single riders together. The process of trying to find a team in this thread is mostly due to managers wanting to find a combination of teams that suit role play aspects (e.g. all african riders together) or to get nice fitting support for their riders with ambitions. It isnt necessary to do that for you - your riders will ride the race already and they also get their xp points - no matter whether you will find a complete 7men team in this thread yourself or not.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Step that low? As far as I'm concerned, you were the one attacking me, and not the other way around.
I'm sorry that you feel that I'm ruining your development, and team plans. I basically suggested a potential setup for cio - like you did. It isn't first come first serve.

OK, I've no problem with that and found replacements

Quick statement: I didn't intend to cause any trouble and didn't see the post in question in time to react. Rules are rules, and I made my selection process clear in my nomination post. I hope ivan's team will be successful.

Very much ok for me as well There are no undulating flat stages where Herklotz would require full attention or even consider to sprint for a high result himself, so no need to keep the team sprinter-free and the flat stages boring from our perspective.
And the mountain support looks absolutely decent.
Would be lovely to continue the domestique-to-winner storyline for another generation with Padun afterwards, you'd have my support if I get any eligible riders again by then.
