hanspetter61, that is absolutely beautiful! It is such a striking jersey and my attempts were pitiful at best, but you in a day nailed it. Thank you so much and I think it's appreciated that you are spending time on the classic jerseys that others may not wish to bother with. Like I said, I have favorite teams from the past in my current roster just for some fun, and now, thanks to you, I can add Coors Light. Please note, I don't utilize the dancing banana for just anyone, but here goes : |

Thanks for Your Nice Words! I appreciate it. It was a special jersey to make and its particularly one thing that seperate this from all other i have done. I had to create so it looks light the light (from logo) was shining trought the blue. Almost like the sun do. I felt i manage to do it and that makes the jersey very special for me to. so since i never done anything like that it was fun working With it. My NeXT game will be to create a retro db, not sure starting year yet but in the 80´s. Core would absolutly be among the teams.

That sounds like quite the project and it's too bad most of my knowledge is in the early 90's to 2000 time period so I could offer any assistance you may require. I read a lot of the magazines and watched quite a few of the races, especially now since Youtube was invented and have played Sali's retro roster which I enjoy quite a bit. He did great work on those in my opinion and I wish you the best of luck.
If you do require some work on frame re-colors, I might be able to do that. I have done the 7-eleven Merckx, Carrera-Carrera (white with blue lettering) and the PDM Concorde. They look fairly decent on the newer frames, but should tinker a bit more with the detail.

I suggest you to choose the year 1985 or 1986. Before 1983, the peloton was not very internationalized. For example, there was only eight teams at 1981 Vuelta ; or there was only 15 teams in 1982 Tour de France including six french and six belgians. It changed a bit in 1983-84 with the irruption of the colombians. And 7-Eleven (first big american team) came in 1985 and was really competitive a year after. I would add that in 1985 we had old riders with a very good level (Kuiper which wins MSR, Zoetemelk world champion) and emergent future stars of late 80s such as Mottet or Delgado. |

There are lot of consideration first. Making such a db and making jerseys I need just to start is a 6-12 month work. If u see my avatar is Knut Knudsen, if I extend his carrier some I will be able to start in 1982 and I can add a young Indurain or Lauritsen in the game. I already have some jerseys from that area I can use, include Ti-Raleigh even if it lasted only to 1981. So my db want be 100 % accurate, for me pcm is still only a game. But I use reality as a guide and extend it some. With so many team shot down and started I cant follow in making all those jerseys. So some team will have extended carrier to make it all fit up. And before I start I have to decide if I should by myself a newer version of the game, and if so which one. The game play has to be stabile and as realistic as possible. If its to easy to win I very fast lose interests. So which edition has the best gameplay and is stabile. Playing for some months for just meeting error problems is worst scenario. For me the graphic is not that important, I want other team to attack and put me under pressure and meeting AI players that actually is in good shape and not only in TDF. So buying a brand new model with all the errors is not a option for me. Is the gameplay stabile and AI actually work so its not to easy but not impossible to win races I can fix all other stuff.

By "realistic", you mean races which look like 80s one ? For example, there was only ONE massive sprint for stage victory in Tour de France 1982 (+ two men who won a stage by breaking away in the last kilometers) ? At the time there were few pure sprinters like Cavendish or Kittel.
Or you mean "realistic" for a 2017 race ? |

With realistic i mean the AI must behave as Close to the real life as possible. I have no intension of recreate the 80´s and have my game be like it was back then. To create a game where riders act like they did in the 80´s is pure fantasy. Its a New game so riders will ofcourse act like riders do today. Im a gamer and just want to play a game With the old riders in a carrier than in the future brings me to modern times. So reacreate old Commercial, old jerseys and the riders of that time is good enough. If there was few sprinters or not it dosent mean a thing. So if the had one sprint in 1982 or 10 is not importent. Some want to reacreate old race im not. I cant create old races that dont exist anymore, neither old leader jersey that it dosent exist photo off. So most of that is New. But it all comes to what i choose to do, since it is a db im going to make.

I can do several of those. Some of them are good Picture that i can see the commercial. so they should not be a problem. The others i dont know yet. Have to see if i can find several Pictures so i understand what it says. Its late here now so i have to look for it tomorrow.

I tryed to see those jersey in dropbox. But then i had to registrate or logg in With Google. I tryed that and i had to say yes to let them administrate my contacts. !!!! When i did that, and i didnt like it. I still could not see Your jerseys. So its not possible to help u, at least im not able to. So much easier to use imgur. And rezise from 15 to 17, u want have Perfect. but ok. Easiest way to resize is to download Paint.net or similar and resize yourself. its not more difficult than turn on the tv.

I think you may have clicked on something wrong then, I never had problems with dropbox! I know imgur might be easier, but I use picture upload sites like once in every 2 years (and by the time I either have forgotten the site or it has gotten a paysite).

Anyways, I attached them in a rar-file, that might even be the easiest solution of all

I remember resizing stuff from pcm 14 to 15 and the result was a blurry ugly shirt, it's why I asked...
Anyways, I attached them in a rar-file, that might even be the easiest solution of all
I got them now and i hope i dont insult u in anyway but first this is pcm 10 jersey that its already been resized to pcm 13 and resized again to pcm 17. I know mate, resizing is Always blurry. But in your OP you said that ppl could request classic shirts. So I thought you wanted to make requested shirts. Resizing I can do myself...

Then i missunderstand u, when u talk all about that resizing. Yes this is a Place for request, not just to me but to anybody who do jerseys. I have several jerseys waiting to be made by one request. So at the moment i cant do Your request. Maybe some other jersey maker who visit this thread can help u.
