Landa is probably the strongest rider in the race and can drop Froome if allowed. Can still win the whole race if he goes rogue.

You know shit about this and even if it was true, he willingly put himself under slavery to help british leader in british team.
Btw. sometimes being a luxury domestique can help you to look and feel better than in position of leader, where you have all the pressure on you.

Lance on Brailsford spat with CN. "I've seen this movie, the ending is shitty" |

He went to Sky to lead the Giro. And in 2016 he abandoned because of an illness. (because of the barbecue) And if the moto crash hadn't happened this year, there was a very high chance he may have been working for a weker rider in. (Thomas)
Also, as LeMond says, he should go for victory when he has the chance.

I also miss old days. 1986 tour..own team mate Hinault made it as living hell for Lemond to win he's first tour.
Now we have so polite. Politically correct. They should not wait after Froome endless technical breaks. |

It's fast but it's pretty wide and straight from what I can remember. It's safe unless you have brake failure or other failure |

Nice stage. Great ride by Sunweb and Matthews. Hoping that Matthews wins green after his great riding this Tour!
That moment, when everyone on the last pages said, that he sprinted unfair and you come along and wish him green after he basically doesn't deserve it. ???
Sunweb and Matthews has ridden very aggressively this Tour, and I'd rather see him win green than Kittel.
He was unfair today and he isn't the best sprinter. And the green jersey should go to the best sprinter. Matthews is just there to pick the pieces.
no..no..
we have been there before. We had been there when Cav and Hushovd did fight for this jersey. Green jersey is not best sprinter jersey. It is most consistent rider jersey.
Sagan? Has he been best sprint when he won green?..clearly no.
most consistent rider?..yes for sure.
Like Sagan also Thor and Matthews should have fight over the mountains with breakaway to collect sprint points. Fair enough. |

Why is Sunweb riding so hard. Kittel is never making it over that climb anyway |

This is not about political correct thinking, but about professionalism. You betray your employee when you think you can benefit from that? This is business, not some romance.

Yeah because of a crash Barguil and Kittel was in. So it makes sense (not) for Sunweb to ride hard in the break giving De Gendt a chance to gain so many points back today
And Roglić is there as well |

they have also several riders in that group. Geschke for stage win..
beside difference between Roglic, de Gent and Barguil
Barguil 117
Roglic 38
De Gent 38
Even Landa with he's 33 is bigger threat at this moment. |

I highly doubt Geschke can stop either of those scoring max points today.
It's almost 60 points up for grabs suddenly De Gendt or Roglić will be on 90 and it's game on instead of the jersey being basically in the bag. |

Super strong break today, should be fun on that end. Chaves getting some alpine action Also Perichon is strong but he should try getting in the breaks proper, he seems to do this every time
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
