Aru losing yellow in an actually dumb way. To be fair he really looked done in the end though.

No 3km same time zone though so doesnt matter really.

Giving Froome the same time as the winner is hilarious though.

Last year Ventoux, no 3kms rule. STill Froome got Porte's time.
But problem is Aru is not British hence there will be no media outcry.

If i was Aru i would kill my team mates when we got back to the hotel. Bunch of useless excuses for a bikerider. Their only job was to make sure he was in top 15-20 when they entered the climb, and he enters as nr 40 or something.

Well, if you count the fact his current team-mates left are average at best... Not his fault Cataldo and Fuglsang dropped out with injuries.

This isn't a mountain stage, he has names who should have been able to deliver him. No excuse. This is normally a terrain for Valgren and Lutsenko, but they were nowhere to be seen? And what about Zeits. Not good enough...

Ventoux was handled like this, because the organizer moto caused the incident. It wasn't a gault of someone from the race, but from outside. That's a major difference.

Yes, because the Brits are the major national power in cycling. Rolling Eyes:lol:

Lutsenko crashed hard early on on this Tour. Valgren I don't know what happened.

Valgren was in the group and says Aru didn't follow?

Michael Valgren (Astana)

[Asked what happened with Aru].

I don’t know. Ask him. I tried to take him to the front, but he didn’t stick on my wheel. Did we lose the jersey?

[After being told Froome has the jersey after the stage].

Good.

I knew the run-in from two years ago, so I knew it was a hard one. It was hectic with the big downhill and everybody coming from the side. It was kind of a lottery to be in the front. Sometimes you’re there and sometimes you get snapped by the bunch.

I don’t know what happened to Fabio, to be honest. We were three guys there in the end, so it was hard to keep in the front.

Aru threw away the seconds he made on Belles Filles. Absolute amateur hour.

Nice try by Phil but he went too early. He probably thought it was Cauberg and he could just drop everyone but the problem was everyone was too fresh Pfft

Can't be the helper's fault that Aru can't hold a wheel if you glued it to him.

You don't even need a team to move up in a group of 60 riders.
