Breakaway wins the stage

So, playing the new PCM17, i've found that the breakaway suceeds in about a third of all stages, especially the flat stages, it can be as frequent as ever other stage. Is there any explanation why, could it be a bug or is it simply developed this year?
And is anyone else experiencing it?

But no... I have not experiance this problem, but seen other people report it. But then again, has also seen people report that breakaway never wins...

This must be it Pfft It's great when I manage to get in the breakaway, but not so funny when I have a sprinter wanting to collect points to the points jersey
