That is like third time you mispelled my nick to Arvin, but dont worry, that sounds good too
And i agree with you reasoning, lets see what 70/75 can do for Sagan, in both hilly stages and GC placing in GTs. He will have to be always lower than he should because of bad AI, so i get why he is such a big problem to stat every year. If he still lacks something in hilly stages and classics, lets try 69/76-77 i think.

Sky riders
Also I've seen a few posts about Sky riders and we have done some work on them and will be like so:
Landa 80/77
Poels 79/79
Henao 78/80
Thomas 78/77 (with of course huge other stats)
Nieve 77/78
Is there a reason why Nieve is better in HI than in MO?
I know that he had a good result in Lombardia in 2015 but that's not really a hilly race anyway and apart from that he really is a diesel type and pure climber for me without much of a punch.

Avin Lol nothing personal as I often get people's names wrong anyway.
Vali That's a typo should be 78/77

So actually...Sagan 70-75, GVA 71-77 and EBH 72-75, right?
That sound pretty honest, but MO Value is actually minimun for GVA and EBH, do they compete for GCs too?
This IA is a shame...because Sagan really deserves 72 imo. |

If you just look at real life GVA deserves 78/79 HI and Sagan 77/78 imo, maybe give them both a MO in the high 60's although they both deserve something around 72 |

Van Avermaet ran Ardennes this year, not too bad, his results was fair for a 78.
And Sagan is one point worse, so 77.
As always, it's my opinion, i don't want to say you're wrong.

I agree with you because of his results that he should have 78, but his results also tell that if he started those races a little bit fresher, he could potentially be a 79, but since these races are not his main goals 78 is fine |

Boasson-Hagen 72 in Mountain??? I think is too high for him.
In my opinion, Sagan 69-76, GVA 70-77, EBH 71-75 and Michael Matthews??? I think he deserves 78 in hills
I think the same for Mikel Nieve MO78 and 77 in hills |

with those stats van Avermaet and Sagan would be main favourites in the races...please take into account all the back-up stats! they are a major part of the statwork!

Maybe there should be some voting about stats OF the main riders I guess everyone needs to correct these stats acording to everyones liking. Its hard to say what is right => it can not be said
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

No, I think the db Team should decide that. They are the ones with the most knowledge. They know how all the backup stats work.

This is why it's a good job editors exist, and allows people to make the minor (or major) adjustments as they want. Especially if the arguemnt is something like 70 vs 71....

Thanks for the vote of confidence even though at times it feels like the blind leading the blind!
Stats
After discussing with Matt we have decided:
Sagan 70/76
GVA 71/77
EBH 71/75
Benoot 72/75
Matthews 70/77
All OP riders with big RES etc
Also these will be their final stats for now because If not we could end up discussing these riders until doomsday!

GVA and Sagan are much better than the others !?!?!?
What have Matthews, Benoot and EBH won compared with the Olympic champion and the double world champion ?
Sagan 70/76
GVA 71/77
EBH 69/74
Benoot 70/74
Matthews 68/76
But ok. Contador is also better than Froome with his 82 MON, 79 ACC, 77 END and 80 REC. So that it is does not matter what they win apparently. Otherwise maybe because he was good for many years ago, where he was doped and only won because and Andy lost chain. But so shall Cavendish also be by far the best sprinter, when he has won 30 stages in TDF. Contador`s 2010 statistics make no sense.

Don't you get that backup stats matter and Sagan and GVA are far superior there, as well as Froome to Contador?

How the fuck can you say EBH is worse than GVA and Sagan in MON. Hoooooly shit.
Anyways they are the final stats for now, it's clueless to continue talking about them. |
