I know right, I pity the poor Quick Step-mechanic was that had to help him...
I can't believe I haven't heard this one before. That is next level and you'd almost want to give up being a bike mechanic after that

Meanwhile De Speld (Dutch version of The Onion) is already at it.
https://speld.nl/...aco-mundo/
''Tom Dumoulin will be the leader of Team Taco Mundo next year. The brand new team hopes to win the Giro on a diet of just burritos, quesadillas and fermented beans. Dumoulin signed the deal yesterday in an Italian Taco Mundo, saying he had had a lovely meal.''

Yeah because we want to be wishing riders crash on a fast descent.
Class post
Well, I never said that so far, but yes, I would currently wish for that. And I don't even like Dumoulin.
Can't want people crashing buddy Serious injuries and worse can happen when flying downhill st those speeds. These guys are actual people yeah, they have families FFS
Do I want them to get injured? No. Do I want them to get scared the shit out of them and lose alot of time? yes!
What the fuck dude, seriously.
Sorry, I'm not into your fetish of boring riders without a personality.
Jeez, mods need to delete this thread already.
Censorship much?
Or ridding this pathetic, childish argument you fools are having from this thread about cycling. If you want arguments, fuck off to Reddit or 4chan.
Well when I see someone wish riders crash/harm then why not call that out? I don't know why anyone would want to see someone crash.
It is this continuation of an argument, as I am guilty of now. Just leave it after a few replies. The original poster is a twat for posting that shit. It is a shitty thing to do attacking like that, even worse to wish a situation on them which could quite easily end their lives. But in all, he is just a twat at a keyboard wishing that crap, doesn't deserve all this attention. If you ignore a bad smell, it goes away. |

We dutch really find creative ways of losing a Gt
on the bright side: Dumoulin said he felt strong and said he would have easily stayed with Nibali/Quintana without the problems...
It's still his to lose |

That was stupid way to loose GT |

Nah he was probably hoping for the urge to pass. Imagine how bad he must have felt so that he decided to strip himself and take a dump on live TV, when every camera is focused on you!
I feel really sorry for him and hope this was a one-off ocurrence.

Actually, If you would come here, I could also say it to your face, if you wish. I'm not just stating that "behind a keyboard". My life is only max. 10% in front of my PC. But I wouldn't throw stones sitting in a glass-house, guy who called me a twat, but who wouldn't say that, if we would talk face-to-face. Pathetic.
The thing is, I can wish people whatever I feel like. I never wished them to go with "100kph through a hairpin", like that other kiddo here said, I basically wished for them to crash at a low speed, like just have their bike slip off them. But well, you can always make an elephant of a fly. Please try to do that to your brain size as well.
But at least I can still hope that Quintana or Nibali crash in another stage, or maybe that they get ill. Still room for dreams.

Let us put this into another direction: Outstanding performances today by three young guys: Jan Polanc and Jan Hirt once again rather strong looking set for a Top 20, and also Gregor Mühlberger with an amazing stage!

Yes, really good on Dumoulin there. Chapeau.
Its really annoying to watch a race that gets neutralised and its, in most cases, also more unfair. Kruijswijk couldn't just lip up the road , for example. Nibali chased a stage win and was on a good day. Zakarin wanted to make up ground in the GC and so he did etc etc. They should just never wait on anyone crashing, mechanics, popping - thats also what Nibali said in his latest interview: I never expect people to wait on me and thats the right attitude.
I still have nightmares from Cancellara just telling the peloton to stop racing because Andy fell and neutralising a potentially very exciting stage that many riders could have won. Thats more unfair as Chavenel was up the road and won uncontested. |

Just race on - like Astana and Contador did in that 2015 Giro. That was amazing to watch how the exchanged blows, its what we want to see. Nobody wants to see a good stage gets neutralised and the peloton just strolling around. |

If he had shat earlier, he would have lost even more time in the false flat with all the wind me thinks

Well its pretty shit...regardles of if the gc group should have waited or not. Why must always happen sth like this in a key moments. It only damages the whole queen stage and there always be what if questions :/
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Did seriously someone think that last year when Kruijswijk crashed they should wait?
He just ran out of skills/too much pressure. That's part of the race. |

Good race for Nibali, he really deserved the victory.
As for Tom, I still believe that he can get his shit together and win this Giro. Even though I am Nibali's fan, Tom is a great rider and he showed us today he had legs to stat with the GC riders. Hope he wont be affected by this stomach problems in the next days.
Looking forward to Thursday's stage. Tomorrow probably the favourites will get some rest. Maybe it will be a stage for a breakaway. |
