I also strongly dislike the lazy cyclists who think they own the road. Go's both ways, an idiot is still an idiot regardless of mode of transport.

Yes but in my experience a lone cyclist will almost never do that. A big group or riders sometimes does, though.
While car drivers have that syndrome much more often.
But, yes, same goes for those people, you are right
However, an idiot in a car can do more damage than an idiot on a bike

I'll be hitting 7 years this July, crazy to think that googling jerseys for PCM would lead me here and keep me here for almost 7 years

Not quite right. An idiotic cyclist here, who is 100% at fault, can cause a lot of damage at innocent car drivers. Cyclists are never responsible for anything, and they can claim tons of money after an accident which was caused by them. As car driver I've had quite a few close calls with cyclists who cannot seem to look around (kids, elderly people and people on racing bikes all barely dodged me, none of it was my fault). Should I have hit someone, and they would've ended in hospital, I would likely have been bankrupt.
A car can kill someone, yes, but a cyclist can financially ruin an entire family, and should a motorist kill a cyclist, they will never ever be able to get over that, believe me.

It's not just that, but an idiot cyclist can still travel at a high speed. If a cyclist moving at speed hits a static pedestrian, that has easily enough potential force to cause serious damage to both individuals.
If you're cycling fast enough where a fall will hurt your, you're cycling fast enough to hurt someone else. And that's what a lot of people forget when cycling. Yes you don't weight 2 tons, but you can have enough force to still cause significant damage.
Forget legal issues or money, injury is still injury however it is caused. By car or cyclist.
An idiot is still an idiot, regardless of mode of transport.

You should try insurance.

Especially since the cyclists claims need to be 100% bulletproof. You can't just cause an incident and then sue the other person. That's totally not how it works.

Yes, in theory.
In practice, people are c*nts. I've actually had people make insurance claims against my car for things that never happened. They claim i did a hit&run in a whole other city at night, and i then have to find some evidence to disprove the claim.
Which luckily is easy for me because i can prove i wasn't 300miles away because i was working, but not so easy for other people.

In Germany, we have people, who evaluate these cases over weeks so that that doesn't happen. They recontruct the crash on a very high detail and find out if it actually happened that way.

Eh, PCM 14 has an even huger FCD db with like 200 teams or something, but I played FCD in both editions and the DB for PCM 13 was definitely better from a stats and attention to details point of view. Still fun to play tho.
I would gladly play either, cuz I plan to go over stats myself and add some young riders, but the download links for both dbs are down (afaik) which means I need something else
Edit: Got PCM 13 and FCD 2014 db to transfer so I should be all good, actually.
Do you know about, if there are any faorese riders there, possibly?
