Well, I got a new laptop recently (about a week ago) and it was perfectly fine...until today morning. Of course, I have to bring it to school everyday and there is where I first noticed it.
A very slow internet connection/speed.
I don't really understand. Beforehand it could handle the highest graphics on PCM easily and now it can't even handle the lowest. YES, I can't even play 3D at the moment. It's really puzzling and I have no idea how to fix it and what's wrong with it. Additionally, the mouse is also glitchy.
Can anyone help? |

Virus maybe? Have you downloaded anything from a random website??
I found that my old laptop did that when I was downloading torrents and random files...This could be the problem?

No, I haven't downloaded much at all and if I have, it was from an official proper website. (Yeah, that made no sense at all, but go with it ) |

I'd maybe still try a virus scanner and see if that gives the solution. It can never do any harm to your PC anyway.

Internet Speed: Could re-set your laptop router and the actual router if you have access to it. Also try clearing the cache.
Overall Performance: Open up Task Manager and see if anything is sapping all the performance. Always recommend closing the useless apps anyway and uninstalling as many as possible. It sounds like something is running in the background and just killing the laptop, so a virus check is also advised.

On task manager there are literally 3 things, spotify (was already on the laptop), chrome and skype. |

Okay...This is very weird, but whilst the laptop was on 50% charge it turned off/shut down. After that it works perfectly now...
Anyway thanks to everyone for the help. |

I suspect a Windows update - massive download taking up your bandwidth then a reboot.
You could check Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update>Update History to see if the update date matches the reboot date.
