Congrats to SotD. Very dominant title win here. Maybe the most dominant ever?
Behind it was close as hell. A pity to lose the podium in the very last race but still 5th and best promoted team. Couldn`t have imagined at before the season. Actually never believed it mid-season neither and was expecting to drop to 11th or 12th.
But it was an awesome season for my team with lots of ups and only a few lows. |

Great season from us and most importantly Phinney having probably his career season minus his Giro win with a top 3 overall and Olympic Gold only the worlds now could make it better
Congrats Sotd for a monster title run and destruction of everyone else some great performances all over the rankings such as the Promoted teams keeping very strong like Evonik , Puma Aegeon and Gazelle shame for all those relegating with some big teams with lots of history going down to the PCT though I'm sure they will all be very strong next year there
For me a big re tooling is needed for next season to consolidate our position we really lack depth in most areas so hopefully a promising renewals window will allow us to attract some riders to improve |

Thanks a lot. It seems to be the biggest margin ever yes. The biggest I can find is Vesuvio in 2012, where the gap was 1.267 points to Pearl Adidas, while I won by 1.649 points. So another 382 points, which seems very unreal.
Also very nice to be the 2nd team to win the Pro Tour Ranking two years in a row.
Congrats on 5th place. I know it feels a bit sour right now, but it's a huge result and you should applaud yourself for it. Your team is not in the top 5 when looking at riders, but you have planned extremely well.

Phinney definately had a great season. A bit of training and he could become the best ever GT rider in the history of the Man-Game!
Thanks a lot. It was truly a team effort - and the fun part is, that I would have almost won the ranking without Simon Spilak. He did OK, but not close to what he should have done - and much worse than last season. But Lecuisinier, Coquard, Tzortzakis, Koretzky and especially Coppel did wonders. It is really nice to see my french and greek legion pulling it off!
You should have a great season next year. Phinney definately want call for 1,5mio, so you are likely having 2-300K of extra cap space, and with riders like Brown, Cataford, van Zyl, Duchesne, Naud and McLay all maxing you have a great depth aswell. I think you would be a top 10 contender next season without changing a thing.

And we are back in our beloved 9th place. But this time we got a GT along the way so at least now we are in the history of the MG

First and most importantly, thank you a lot to all of you who made the game move forward with such a great pace all season long. It has been a true joy to sit back and just enjoy all the racing 
Really thought we were safe from Vesuvio when we passed them after Tasmania, but a very surprising Suaza in Lombardia saw us go fourth. I'm very happy with that considering Boasson Hagen's lack of performances this season. Festina was always going to be untouchable, but a normal season by our captain should have seen us go second quite comfortably.
But still, the sponsor goal was top 10, so third, fourth or ninth doesn't really matter that much
Big congratulations to SotD. Simply bossing the season with consistent top placings all over the place, and then overperforming massively in a couple of races towards the end, and suddenly a record gap down to second place. Chapeau! |

First of all, congrats to SotD for a dominant PT campaign. Winning in style. Also congrats and special thanks to roturn. Great season for Aegeon and outstanding effort to take over the MG in SN's abscence. I really appreciate this and of course all reporters' efforts.
Jayco'z season was quite strange. Didn't expect us to fight against relegation for so long, but quite a few low key results from our leaders made us fear the way down. I remember we had some tough luck with crashes in the Vuelta (but ofc no one is save from that) or like Durbridge missing a stage win so close that it hurts. Burghardt was quite solid, but again not good enough in the monuments. Goss had his moments. Haig scored quite nice. Durbridge was disappointing at the start, but at least came close in a couple of later TTs..
Eventually, Bobridge saved our season with his second consecutive GC podium in Tasmania. A pity he missed the GC win so close, it would have been our first overall victory this year... but for an Aussie team, it's obviously great to secure our PT spot in Tassie. Nice story in a thrilling season ending for Oz.
14th this year. 11th last year. We need to aim for the other direction next year

I-Gen Festina absolutely deserves this title, winning it two years in a row now with a wonderful squad and a very active manager. Congrats SotD. Behind, Becherovka with a great season ending on all sixes!
Evonik with a great debut season showing knockout's great managerial ability to get a team from CT to seventh place in PT withing two seasons!
Nice to see our Canadian friends RBC staying up. Sorry for Movistar, my two loanees couldn't keep you out of the relegation zone in the end.
As with the other divisions, a massive thank you to all the managers for their active involvement and discussions, and I can battle you in the future.

Didnt SOTD cry for half season he wasn't gonna podium? At least i remember something like that 
Quickstep would have won this season no doubt
Smowzyyy, nooooo, impossible. And almost Beagle with him, old guard dying off
And CT is finally gone yesssssssssssssssssss he was the Aston Villa of WT, unwanted fart that keep on surviving somehow for far too long

First a little summary of our season: WOW.
Whether I shouted that word in disbelief about awesome rides like Kelderman's Fleche win, Arndt's TdF performances and the Herklotz show in Portugal, or in disbelief about no-showings like in 75% of Ciolek's races or sadly a lot of our late season outings, this season was full of surprises.
In the end, we positioned only two riders in the Top 50 (and Blythe only barely), but have a whole ten riders in the Top 100.
I couldn't ask for a better result both in the team rankings as well as in the individual rankings considering how widely known we are as the "depth team" now and have been for a while. I really hope this means renewals will be rather smooth, but I fear it might just mean that everyone will demand a raise.
I couldn't blame anyone though, we certainly had a great season and that needs to have some repercussions for the game to work.
I'm already in full transfers preparation mode, and I can't wait to push this team one step further. Whether that will be in individual performance or in overall efficiency remains to be seen. I sure want both, but I may have to settle for either.
We might never be as high as 6th again, so I cherish what we achieved here.
Regardless of your team's final position; whether you had a top team, had to be content with the midfield places all season long, or have to face the tough reality of relegating, I want to thank every PT manager for a great season in transfers, in the threads and on the road.
I hope everyone had enough fun to justify the effort you put into this game and to live up to the reputation this game has on this forum.
Now onto the detailed part:
My most heartfelt congratulations to SotD for an incredibly dominant season overall, you're certainly one of the best managers in the game on a planning level as well as on a personal level in public and private discussions. I can't think of anyone more deserving of the title.
Becherovka ending on a VERY suspicious number You have Bewley, well done.
Congratulations to you too, as well as obviously to SN for miraculously saving your podium spot with the most unlikeliest of Lombardias. Thank you for all your contributions to the game.
Aker certainly will look at some lost points throughout the season and wonder what could've been, but I am sure you'll be happy with 4th at the end of the day, and you should be.
Just below 100 points kept us from making the Top 5 and finishing as the best promoted team, and it had to go to the one team we could fabricate some kind of rivalry with if we intended to, Aegon.
Obviously we share a common focus region and a common long-term strategy and have fought each other throughout many seasons by now, but in the end, you're a super nice guy roturn and deserve success for all the effort you put into reporting and background work. We will certainly seek revenge next year though
Right behind us is where Evonik came in, certainly one of the big surprises of the season, but the focus on the three big guys paid off at every point of the season. Congratulations for this result, but PLEASE stop with the training now!
Tinkoff, eBuddy and Metinvest saw a decent season for themselves too, relying on their star riders to deliver. Well done to all of you, and a particular thanks goes to Avin for all of your contributions. We'll miss your complaining 
I'm not entirely sure how happy Count will be about 11th, but I believe you can be, with your strategy of depth over stars working out pretty well already, and your team has the potential to make the next step in 2017 and go for a Top 5. Good luck with that!
Pendleton's and Bouygues tried so hard and got somewhat far, but just having one 84 rider doesn't get you far enough anymore.
I'm not sure if we'll see Bouygues again, if not it'll be the end of an era. Theo Bos FTW.
The final congrats go to Jayco's, Gazelle, RBC and Pokerstars, who all had their ups and downs this season, but ultimately had enough luck and/or skill on their side to remain PT teams now. You all had very different approaches to the game and I'm excited to see how you'll continue with those next season. I'm glad to battle with you for another year.
Now sadly we have to say goodbye to some teams again, and I'm sure it'll be a sad couple of days over at Movistar. You knew all along that it was a risky strategy to rely on an overperforming rider to carry his momentum through winter, and it just didn't quite pay off in the end.
I do see a good chance for you to bounce right back though, with the 1 million budget cut probably being quite easy to manage with just a few losses. Good luck with your PCT endeavours.
I'm not sure how involved CT still is and whether he'll get a chance to rebuild next year, but it's certainly sad to see Orange go down considering their history in the game.
Looking at all the red stats on that team, it's not easy to understand how it has failed so much, but I guess now is not the time to dissect that.
The last three teams probably knew about their fate well in advance, with some pretty much planning with relegation all along, and Smowz must've known quite early on too that Alarcon alone likely can't do the job.
You're all great managers who are a vital part of the game, and I wish you the best of luck in transfers and next year to continue with your projects and to hopefully make it work better in PCT. I'm sure we'll see each other again, and I'll follow you closely.
Last but not least, thank you to everyone who kept the game running smooth and fast. A lot of reporters aren't in PT but deserve as much praise as my fellow managers. You all did an amazing job and I hope we can continue to run this game for as long as me and SotD are planning in advance already.

Thanks a lot mate. Which race - except for Lisbon Classi, were overperformed massively towards the end? To be honest all I saw was us performing according to the riders we sent, although slightly worse in TONE
Colombia was slightly under par.
GP Moscow was about right.
TONE was well under par.
Tour of Ukraine was better, but hardly any points.
GP Liechtenstein was about right.
Copenhagen-Malmo TTT was about right.
Giro dell'Emilia was about right.
Lisbon Classic was well over par.
Tour of Tasmania was about right.
Giro di Lombardia was well under par.
It wasn't the end of the season that was overperformed by us, rather the middle. We were always going to score massively in the end - which we also planned after by stacking all of out stars there.

Thanks a lot - That squad might be difficult to keep intact though. My 3 year plan of fading out Spilak, Coppel and Tzortzakis might have to come quicker, which will see us having some sort of issue in the top flight next season. We'll have to see what can be done...

And - Hey!! But you are probably right. The only "good" thing, is that we don't have 11 riders maxing out next season, like we did this one. But keeping the core definately isn't going to happen.

Already preparing for SotD`s whining in renewals and the "forcing" to cut 1-2 riders.
Must feel weird to win with ~1600 points in advantage instead of winning by a small margin and a lot easier renewals. |

Congratulations SotD! Winning the PT twice in a row is impressive already and winning it by this huge margin makes it even more amazing. Very well done.
Speaking about impressive; newly promoted Aegon, Puma and Evonik finishing 5th, 6th and 7th is a ridiculous achievement as well.
The goal for our first ever season in the PT was just to survive and learn. We did both, so I'm happy. Now that I know how the PT works I see plenty of opportunity to improve on the current roster. We have an exciting transfer season ahead of us.
Huge thanks to all reporters and especially roturn for another season of this great game!

Absolutely. We want to keep this amazing game running. I have said it before, and I'll say it again. This game is, BY FAR, the best game I have ever played, and there's a huge "Thanks" in that, to those establishing and running the game. This season, roturn - but also all the reporters.
