I find that very insulting to GVA. One could just as easily say Sagan was just too scared to sprint against Van Avermaet again.
Terpstra being a dick as well as an idiot again. No surprises there.
I find that very insulting to Terpstra. You only heard that he spat on someone. From someone who heard, that someone said that.
Your opinion is valued greatly on this forum. Please, tell us more about what a nice guy Terpstra is!
Don't be childish and make this personal. Because of my different political opinion, I'm not a bad person with bad opinions wherever I go. I also don't ridicule you everywhere, only because you actually think that I'm a nazi. Look past the Horizon, mate.
Back on topic, let's not make this political. There's other threads for that. It's obvious, that you don't like Terpstra. I mean you only shoot against Terpstra, although I couldn't find any news on him spitting on someone. The only thing where I saw it, was in this thread right here. No news page is telling such a story. But you shoot against him, but not against f.e. Sagan, who rammed someone of the road....which was seen on TV.

There is no reason really why olympic champion Gold Van Avermaet should say thanks to Sagan for anything. It was Sagan's own fault he lost this race.
GVA is ready for De Ronde. He was a few times very close in the past years, just recall 2014 for example. This time he is on his best form to make history.. Imagine: reigning olympic champion winning all 4 major flandriennes classics. He'd be a living legend. Go for gold, Greg!
Not gonna happen
Gilbert will win De Ronde |

Terpstra is such a nice guy that he said Santambrogio was seeking attention when Santambrogio was considering suicide |

With that said, what Sagan did was not nice by any means, also his post race comments in his native language that were recorded does not sound very professional. (i ride with mother*uckers, f*ck it,...).
Btw. GVA is such a great rider, hands down the best classics rider in post Boonen/Spartacus era. He does lack super-versatility of Sagan, but in long draining day in the saddle, no one is better than him. Congrats Greg!

Well Sagan f*%!d that right up.
In what world is it a good plan to give GVA a 20 second lead in the last 10k. I think GVA has started to get into Sagan's head a bit.
What are the odds on GVA taking Flanders and Roubaix to make it a perfect sweep

Taking also these two on top of his already great year would need a lot of luck, next to great abilities he has.

I can see him take max one, although I'd love to see him take the double too. The other one will go either to Sagan, especially if it's De Ronde, or perhaps Degenstache at Roubaix.

those comments are from msr
you only saw the last few seconds of the video
there is a longer version of the video where you see its msr
he finished it watched the replay on a tv and then started complaining about alaphilippe and kwiatkowski
so yesterday was not the first race this year that he complains about others
his attitude is getting worse |

And what he did in Eneco Tour two years ago. The guys basicly a dick. The problem is not that I have a thing against Terpstra, but that Paul is such a Quick Step fanboy. It's not just your political ideas that are onesided, it's your opinion about certain riders/teams as well. So no, this is not about the politics thread, it's about your general forum imput.

To win RVV you need perfect strategy and timing, and I think GvA is a bit favourite on Sagan for this, btw last year Sagan got it with perfect race against a stronger Cancellara. I think the race is to hard, and this two guys are over the others, without other problems (crasches or mechanical problems) or stupid lacks, I can't see different ways.
Roubaix is another race, you need obviously strategy and timing, but luck is a primary requirement. The race is not so hard too, so other guys like Degenkolb or Kristoff are in the game |

Talking about that day, yes. On Oude Kwaremont he was faster alone by 30/40" then any other rider, but failing timing to follow Sagan attack. |

I'm not a quickstep fanboy. I just like some riders of their team. And yes, it happens pretty often, that people say: "I'm gonna kill myself!", because they are seeking for attention. I'm not sure if it was the same with Santambrogio, but it can be.

But well, I never said, that Niki isn't cocky sometimes, almost every pro rider is. As is Sagan, but still you go after Terpstra after an unapproved comment and not after Sagan when there is actual footage, talking about "onesided opinions".

Well i dont think its ok that Terpstra stop relaying in front group 16 k to go while his teammates in chasing group arent working aswell. I think for Sagan it was more about sending message before ronde than winning here.
What happened at Kemmelberg was shitty.
About that video in slovak language, i think everyone who was doing some sport sometimes let steam off immediately after lose and then chilled. |

https://forum.cyclingnews.com/viewtopi...6#p1355756
Check the posts starting from this point. Santamborgio says addio mondo and a few other things on his twitter which suggests that he is considering suicide.
https://forum.cyclingnews.com/viewtopi...4#p1355924
Then, Terpstra says that Santamborgio firstly goes extreme to win then does this to get attention.
Anyone who defends Terpstra in this case is either a blind fan or a troll.

Can't watch this one on tv unfortunately, but it does sound promising. I hope the Ardennes guys were watching the cobbles so far and follow their example of active racing.
