Is there any president of riders being banned for fighting/punching other than being disqualified from the actual race they are in?
precedent, but close enough. But yes, there is a President that would be part of this, the President of the UCI Mr. Cookson
Damn my fat fingers!!!

First race live this year!
Hoping for some good action in the finale to upset the sprinters.
Exactly what I wanted! Good finish. C
Wout 'want to be a GC-leader' Poels and Michal 'most weird rider in the peloton' Kwito both loses a chunk of time and are effectively gone. Good riders, hugely inconsistent. |

Maybe its like F1. They have limited engines for the season |

It's a bit harsh calling them inconsistent and wannabe's for a result on the 1st February. I'm fairly certain that any races at this time of year aren't too high up on their list of goals this season.

Yeah its early but this definitely has been the pattern for Kwiatkowski for the past 2 years |

Kwito is possibly the most inconsistent rider in the peloton and Wouter is not much better when it comes to that. So no, its not really harsh. Wouter can often be extremely good as well, its just the rider he is. |

Dubai Tour - Stage 4 cancelled due to heavy wind...no Hatta Dam then.
Hence tomorrows flat stage will be the final stage. |

This Middle Eastern cycling adventure is turning into a bit of a joke. Qatar cancelled and Dubai reduced to a warm weather club run.
I thought these countries could control the weather. That's what Qatar told FIFA at least.

But that's exactly what they are supposed to be, and they are, Hatta Dam or no Hatta Dam.

Danish cycling going the right way at the moment. Im not overly nationalistic when it comes to supporting the Danes, especially not during the Olympics, but its nice to see the young ones doing well. Maggie Cort with a very impressive and powerfull sprint, Coquard didn't stand a chance and Mads Würtz was super impressive in his first race. |
