I think it's more like: "This is a forum, not YT, so writing is the method of interaction, not YT vids". Which i do get a view point. This is a forum, and writing is the real means of communication here.

Doesn't mean writing is the only means of communication.
If it's a Story, make a thread in the Stories section and post there. YT stories have been there for years, as long they are in English. They won't get taken down or locked by us.
If it's a tutorial answering a question on gameplay, i don't mind it being posted as an answer. I'd recommend submitting to our tips & tricks section as well. Although there is an argument that many tutorials can be easily explained via the written word.
(The other day there was a question on where Steam puts mods. I wrote an answer quicker than you could make a video, so perhaps if you wanted to be a part of the community here make a judgement on whether a video is an appropriate response vs a written response)

So yes, there is YT. Shockingly it's not new and has been here on Daily for years. Just keep in mind this isn't YT and that many people here don't want to listen/watch YT videos here. They will go to YT for that.
Do share your work, in the appropriate way, because people will look at it. Just remember we are a forum based on writing.
