Tag Heuer logo in right shoulder is reversed, try to fix that. Btw, is the white shape in the back like that?

Thanks for the feedback, no clue about the white shape, I'll remake it when there's a proper picture out there. |

First of all, it would have been fair of you to contact me before you released the edited jersey in public. I could have given you some feedback or even provided you with the PSD file, to make the editing easier.
As you might, or might not, understand, we (the graphics artists) spend hours and hours creating these jerseys and trying to make them look perfect every single time. If you understand that, I hope you also understand that it's shocking to see your jersey being used in an edit that looks like it's been either done carelessly or really sloppy. For example, you didn't even take the stitches into account, as seen most clearly on the sides of the jersey. Next to that, there are multiple places where you can still see small parts the black shapes that are originally under the white parts you added. Also, the collar is black on the front, but white on the back. There are some more, less notable irregularities that make the jersey look like a careless paint-over to me. Therefore, I would like to ask you to remove the jersey from your thread.
Last, but not least: a word of advice for you: either communicate with the creator you want to use work of or create the base jersey yourself to avoid this kind of situations.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

First of all, it would have been fair to read I gave literally all the credit to u and even linked your post. Your shirt has been used in several public databases as it's a real life jersey so there's honestly no reason why I would have to consider contacting u over a bmc jersey. I said it was a careless paint-over, wthout any interest to even remotely get credit for this. I just made this in about 3 minutes to get it for the people who quickly needed a 2017 replacement for the BMC jersey, as u could've read.
Nevertheless, I'll follow your questions and remove it from my post. I just did it to help some users. I guess some people just don't want a guy around here willing to help some people. This mentality is why u see the "Members online" number drop every single month.
Last but not least: a word of advice for you: either communicate friendly or don't.
I remember us having this conversation like 3 years ago. Great reunion. |

Not sure what wasn't friendly about my post, but your reply only shows that you have absolutely no clue what it means to be a graphics artist.
As you could have noticed, I haven't been active much lately, because I've been busy irl. Most of the time, if I see many questions about a fantasy 2017 jersey, I'd have given it a shot myself, like I did with the Sunweb jersey, especially if I did the 2016 version.
Don't you think it's even the slightest bit disrespectful to edit a jersey so carelessly, while somebody else has spent hours to make it look as close as possibke to the real jersey?

I do understand where u come from, but it defo sounded offensive for me. Nevertheless I get it, I'll think about it next time. But I just wanted to help the community.
EDIT: I study GFX & IT so I understand what taking someone else's work and working from it is. But the point I'm making is. Copying a real life jersey isn't art. If it was a fantasy one, I would've asked. |

Could've expected this from you...
As I already said, I'm not against using work of others as base for a jersey, but what I said is that it's disrespectful to edit someone's jersey so carelessly and then publish it without asking for permission first.
And the examples you've given are all made because those jerseys weren't made yet and we needed them for the EP.

Hahaha, such amazingness.
You also did a "careless" edition...
1.- Cover the original signature completely or it will look a disaster
2.- You should know that World Champion shirts can only include black or dark blue logos
3.- Make sure the original designers who took their time to make the shirt as similar to real life one as possible haven't make the shirt you are editing before you are editing it
That said, I am moving out of here because I am making this showroom a disaster. I only tried to defend Benji as he did nothing wrong. Some time ago, he was criticised for not crediting the original makers... Now he does and he is still criticised... I really admire what he is doing, as I started exactly the same way.
So just let him try and try, let's not desmotivate him because that is a shit, okay? Thanks

The ones you just posted were made after I created them and released a pack of all of the missing ones.
And about your start here, you have been criticised for the exact same thing, remember? The fact that you feel he hasn't done anything wrong only supports the image you have drawn among the DB Team and the admins.
That said, I agree with you on one thing: we're going way off-topic here, so if you want to respond to this, do so by sending me a PM.

EDIT: I want to add this in.
EDIT: OOPS I FORGOT TO CREDIT THE MOLE. OH WELL

Could have been said more tactfully. Total disrespect to an Admin.. Your "sissy fits" recently have been hilarious however this goes too far.
Time tp consider a short term ban...I have a kid a year or so younger then you and he feels upset with the world occasionally (actually at his mother) and needs to step back a bit every now and then: lol:
I call for Marsupilami to be "Grounded" for one week.
PCM Graphics maker since 2007.

He was just standing up for me. I would find it very very dumb to ban the 1 member that cares about the new guys. (next to sutty) |
