Welcome,
I'll start today a new game: NBA2K17 with one of the greatest players in NBA history to which I pay tribute in his retirement year of NBA league.
Kobe Bryant who won five rings will be my player.
Hey Sali, nice idea to make some videos from NBA2K17, i am big fan of the series and i absolutely love the newest edition of the game, it got a bit better again!
I have watched both duels of yours, nice game winner with Russel there.
Now i hope you are ready for some criticism, not about videos itself, but you skill and how you virtually play the game of basketball. (as i am bit of a basketball freak and play the virtual basketball since NBA Live 1999).
When i put aside that you most likely play on easiest difficulty (we all have to learn somehow), i am not sure if you are familiar with basic basketball 101 or if you have seen some NBA or Euroleague matches. You dont need that for easy difficulty, but you would be smashed later by just standing there and shooting threes.
- you dont play pick and rolls/pick and pops (the ballhandler got screen set by teammate, get open and either finishes by shot/drive or passes the ball to guy who set the screen). Basically the most important play in history of basketball, used almost in every play in real life...
- you dont play post game (when the big guy, so C or PF) goes back to the basket and his defender and plays him out by post moves, when he goes to the rim, or just shoots from fadeaway.
You can see that 90+% of your points are scored by PG, SG or SF, as you dobnt have post game or pick and rolls.
- you dont play isolation (when the ballhandler uses his dribble moves to get past his oposition to go for the drive or a shot from 3/middle). Great way to score is to isolate and when you drive, you can kick the ball out to open teammate, who either catch and shoot, or starts dribbling and isolating further.
- You dont score lot by layups and dunks, because that comes mostly from pick and rolls and isolation. So you just shoot from distance.
- You dont play too much of a defence, especially intense D and try covering the moves of the attacker and box him out by the same button for a defensive rebound.
Please dont take this as some sort of bad critiscism, i just love the game virtually and irl, so i tried to come with some tips for you to improve your game and make the game more enjoyable, as with bigger difficulties also come greater gameplay. Watching some other youtube videos or watching some basketball games also teach you about the game.
