The guy has absolutely zero charisma, compared to him Froome looks a fun guy. His racing style, while definitely beautiful in style is nothing to shout about. Most of the races he stares at Froome's ass all day long anyway. His interviews are bland as shit. I totally respect the guy, but I see nothing why you'd grow to like him.

I hate to bring it up again (not really), but I guess today proved my point: Contador is also human, he actually cares about a podium as well!
What a ride by Chaves. Second time Orica has done it, I like their GT-potential. Chaves two podiums in 2016, reminds me a bit of Aru and I honestly think he has a better level than Aru. Maybe thats heat of the moment tho.
Quintana wasn't pressured at any point today as expected despite Froome's monster ITT. Thats 2 GT's now, only needs the Tour, will be a tough one. |

It's the end of the season and a lot of tired legs. On the other hand a bunch of 'lesser' riders seeking an opportunity, that's all. Striving for the image cult of godlike iconic athletes is just wrong imo.
I just loved this Vuelta. The amount of "nobodies" who encountered their moment of success is astounding! Cycling wins if you ask me.

But that is exactly the only real reason I see, you hated Contador so you like Schleck. You dislike Froome so that means you must like Nairo ( I don't mean you, just people in general)

Why should it not be possible? While he's no star he is a solid climber who been improving each season he's been racing at the top level, he was here to ride support but when his team leader crashed out he stepped up and quietly went about his business working hard and getting into the top 10 which is a great effort, tired legs as per usual in this race but Bennet did race the Tour and still had it to finish 10th. Great effort from him

I think a lot of the folks root for Quintana cuz he's the lesser evil than Froome.
Or for Contador and he's pretty evil too but at least races in an entertaining manner.

Where did I say that? Unless ''most of the race'' qualifies that, which would make you look stupid for denying a simple fact. Because Quintana is definitely not attacking more than he stares at his ass
