Horrible chute de Rojas!
Think he hit the pole the gardrail sits on.

Car had nowhere to go, took the turn quite fast already, Rojas should've stayed behind. I fear Rojas' body has hit that support of the rail quite hard, fear he has some broken ribs and possible internal injuries.

What were they thinking driving there so close to the riders? Currently nohing is worse in cycling than the cars and motos.

My best guess is that the riders were overtaking the car at that moment, hence why it was that close, and had riders both in front of it and behind. Car driver couldn't have done much to avoid this really.

Rojas is conscious and stable according to Movistar's twitter account, despite the fact that he's still lying on the ground. His crash has caused him in one of his legs.
More details to come this evening.

It does indeed look like Contador cares about a podium - too bad he, Chaves or Froome didn't order their teams to chase the break. Or even Quintana, for that matter, altho I know thats a different situation. Its the last day, christ. |

Magnus Cort is actually a monster - has been very impressed by him so far, I must admit!
Aitana is a big power climb until the last 6, so don't expect Froome to try anything before that point. 1.20? Waaaay too much at this point. |
