I totally agree with you and Lauda, who said, that Max should be sent into
psychiatry, because he said, that he didn't do anything wrong and that he was defending like this because Kimi(!) ruined his race. What a moron. And Kvyat was sent down to Toro Rosso for less.

Ban Verstappen for what? The first corner incident was clearly Vettel's fault, who cut of Raikkonen and Verstappen. The first defending action against Raikkonen was clean, because he went to the right at the same time Raikkonen did. The second defending action where they (almost) hit each other was maybe a bit too enthusiastic, but when Raikkonen tried to overtake Grosjean he hit him as well.

And Laud was a joke. Hamilton and Rosberg hit each other as well often. So please first start with your own drivers before judging others.

Oh and in case you didn't know; Red Bull didn't want Kvyat to join Toro Rosso, they just wanted Verstappen to join Red Bull. I still feel sorry for Kvyat because he obviously didn't deserve that.

The first lap incident was mostly Vettels fault, but also Verstappens divebomb was unnecessary and destroyed Kimis race even more. The first defending was NOT clear, because he moved at the same time. Also you clearly saw that he even lifted the throttle on the camel straight. You don't do that. Then his other defending was another time much too harsh.(Yes, Kimi did the same to Grosjean, but that wasn't ok either.) Then again, he defended against Vettel too harsh and he switched lines way too often on a straight. Lauda can't really say anything against his own drivers, as much as Horner can't say anything against his. You don't go against your own people.

I knew that they did want Max in RedBull, but he shows race after race, that he doesn't belong there yet.
He may have won Spain luckily, but he crashed in Monaco, did unfair defending already in Hungary and now again in Spa. No wonder that most of the drivers dislike him already. They already told him that he shall not do this again, but he doesn't care. He is endangering others.

Max is one of the most talented guys in recent years, but he destroys it with careless, overaggressive driving. Not even talking about his interviews, where he is even more arrogant than Vettel in 2011-2014.

media training 101 in Formula 1, Rosberg is probably the best at it though

Jenson Button will retire at the end of this season

And Stoffel Vandoorne will race for McLaren in 2017. Button will be embassador for McLaren and reserve driver for next two seasons

To expand: One year as Ambassador, with an option to race in 2018, and is kinda reserve 2017 driver. It's a really weird set-up, but one that makes sense when you take Alonso into account.
Alonso's contract ends after 2017 and unless the McLaren suddenly becomes championship challenging (which we all know it won't) he's gonne be leaving. Which opens a spot at McLaren, and this deal seems to give Button first dibs on the seat if he wants it (or on the Vandoorne seat if Stoffel turns out to be really crap).

So Button is not retiring, he's basically taking a sabatical with a clever deal to give him an almost guaranteed return. And still make £££ in the process.

The big downside? I guess this means he won't be presenting Top Gear soon...

Massa is retiring, so there is a free sport at Williams. The german sky guys said that Perez may move the Renault next season. So this free ups a seat for (maybe) Wehrlein at Force India. Kvjat is also not convincing and as his behaviour doesn't fir the Red Bull image (as Helmut Marco said), there might be room for another Red Bull youngster. (Gastly?)

1- Perez has almost confirmed himself that he will stay at Force India
2- Kyvat is out of Toro Rosso at 99%, unless Sainz is loaned to Renault, as is rumoured. Gasly will be his sustitute. The French is leading GP2
3- There's a rumour that Willliams 2º driver might be Lance Stroll, an 18-year Canadian, who is leading the European F3 C'ship. He's already a development driver for Williams, and his dad has looooot of money (20 milion $ to drive next year).
4- Neither Palmer or Magnussen will retain their seats in Renault, so one of them might be for Esteban Ocon, currently racing with Manor, and Renault's 3rd driver. The other could be Sirotkin, a Russian who is racing in GP2, and is part of Renault youth system

In regards to silly season:-

Ocon will be at Renault 99% confirmed, hence why he's taken over at Manor really. Palmer and Magnussen looking out of luck. Would not surprise me to see Sirotkin step up and take the second seat. Although Palmer gave an interview to Channel 4 and he seems really certain of getting a 2017 seat.

Williams will retain Bottas i'm certain and until yesterday it was all set for Button... A smart person would try and bag Wehrlein ASAP. But actually don't be surprised if Magnussen makes a move here either. Williams isn't the type of team to go for an 18-yo outta no where thesedays, so i would be (pleasantly) surprised. Also don't count out Palmer here either.

Perez and Hulk are confirmed at Force India according to Autosport, so don't worry about them or FI.

Kvyat is f*cked, so Gasly stepping up is all but confirmed alonside Sainz who is confirmed. Sainz not going to Renault because he's signed, and also Red Bull don't have another driver ready to promote this season.

Haas, who knows, but Grosjean and Guttierez seem set to stay unless an American comes along with big money (from what i've heard).

Manor and Sauber are reserved for whoever brings the biggest sponsors.

To conclude: Silly season is decidedly un-silly this year with the three big teams locked in and the big riders signed up early.

Occon will remain in Manor - he is Mercedes test driver

Now that i didn't know. Having tested for Renault i just assumed he was either affiliated or at least not related to a team. And he tested for Lotus in 2014... boy am i confused...

He's Mercedes junior driver, but he's loaned at Renault. Putting him at Manor was a move by Mercedes to guarantee that Ocon would stay as Mercedes driver, not Renault. A bit like RBR did with Max early on this year.

Sirotkin is still too green, too incosistent still. Incredible fast driver, but really incosistent. Will be there in 2018, but 2017 he'll be benched in GP2 again. Renault will, most likelly than not, be someone and Palmer. Vasseur himself has said Palmer has a good chance of staying a Renault next year. Sadly, of course, because K-Mag, despite disappointing this year, is by far more talented than Jolyon (even though Jolyon impressed me this year by beeing close to Magnussen).

Basicly Ocon at Manor was Mercedes' insurance policy. They will bench him in DTM not GP2

lol at ppl whining about verstappen

either you didnt watch f1 in the past, or you forgot.

senna vs prost vs schumacher, silverstone 93
https://www.youtu...jGj7ukDbBo

watch Senna's defending.. this is only a small part but it went on for laps. Back then they didn't consider this 'dangerous driving'. But it was called racing.
That's what racing is.

No good whiners these days, my god.

First off, Sennas moves are not under braking, which is harsh, but within the limits.

Second, the FIA created a rule against moving under braking. I agree, that the racing could be harsher at times, but I don't like when someone constantly goes over the rules and gets not penalized. It renders the rules useless and lets the FIA look like a bunch of fools.

It's not like I really care about your opinion, because you would probably hump everything which is dutch...
