Guys, don't you see the argument is stupid?
1.- Bolt hasn't been caught because of doping
2.- Van Niekerk hasn't been caught because of doping
3.- If you guys think everyone is a doper... why do you watch this lie? It is impossible to enjoy sports if you are constantly thinking/saying the guy who wins is a doper. Sometimes it's better not to know the truth, because otherwise noone would ever trust in sports or whatever again

Well, I don't think you can just think that everyone that is doing well in sports nowadays are doped or has used illegal drugs. Most of these sportsman are giving so much up to compete at the Olympics. The hard work, dedication, determination and spirit of these competitors outweigh the belief of performance enhancing. Sure, there are plenty of people that are using drugs but not everyone. Just for example, half the notorious Russian team got caught and pretty much half of the chinese swimming team has been caught like Sun Yang etc. But, all the work competitors have put in these Olympics and events cant be wasted just to be washed away from just a singular needle. Michael Phelps, the greatest Olympic athlete ever, he has trained himself for all these medals. Do you know how much effort he puts, he eats 10 eggs a day, swims 50 miles a week. The dedication and time he puts into winning medals is unquestionable. Drug cheats are definitely prevalent in the world, but are not gonna take over our the athletes. They may take over certain competitors but the human spirit is unmatched!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be happy

I oficially nominate you for the annual naivity prize, congrats!
Phelps just trains hard and chinese athletes who are being trained away from family since 4-5 years old are not training so hard like he is, so they need to dope to be constantly beaten by him, sure.

Mate, Chinese athletes train hard for sure, but I don't know if you know, but there was an athlete at London she won some 400 individual medley or some event, she was chinese, she was 17 years old, she broke the world record by 3 seconds or so, I am not saying all the chinese swimmers are taking drugs, but they seem pretty damn dodgy and she got caught straight after. First of all, I don't think there is one chinese athlete that even competes in Phelps' events, maybe in the relays but not in individual. Phelps is the supernatural athlete, he is a once in a generation sorta guy, he is one of the best competitors ever. The chinese don't even swim mate. They are using supplement and so to get better. In china it is cold most of the time and they don't have many swimming pools at all. Bolt and Phelps are once in a generation athlete. Before the 2000 Olympics, china were no were. Just recently they are getting somewhere which is helped by drugs. China have hardly any swimming pools and are stimulated to do better.

4.- Armstrong hasn't been caught because of doping
Both and. Agrees with Bolt and Phelps, they were world's best Young and Junior ever.
But Wayde van Niekerk has never been special good and suddenly become World champion, Olympic champion and beats world record, then something is very wrong.

Then, as Avin said, you should rethink about your favourite cyclist...

This track must be incredibly fast wow the woman's 10 km. 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th best time ever.
tin-foil hats people are questioning if the track is actually 400 meters long. which seems a little bit farfecthed to me. maybe if we see PR's being broken like this consistantly across the +400m events and not in the -400m events then maybe.
Can we start this discussion? Because the insanely fats 400m race indicated that tbh.
I like a good conspiracy theory as any other Daily member, but that isn't consistent enough tbh. Only 2 WRs so far. Give me a couple more and we have a discussion in our hands!

Bit of a stink in the boxing. Two apparently appalling decisions to let two Russian (surprise, surprise) athletes go through unanimously. |

To be honest, he has been good. In his home country South Africa he won the championship several times first time even as 18 y/o, and even in 2014 (when he was almost unknown) he had in several periods have the fastest time during the year in the 400 meters. It makes it lesser dodgy according to me. |

No, he wasn't anything special. None Young and Junior World Champion and World Record, not even close on. All in Olympic finals have won championship in their home country. |

Wondered when Britain would get dragged into this.
The national lottery funding programme has generated millions which have been invested in sport since the mid 1990s. Correlating perfectly with the upturn in Olympic performance. If only we could do the same with our football team. |
