Edit my "be a pro" rider

Hi
I can't figure out how to do this, i have tried to search the forum, but haven't found anything. So i want to edit my rider so he can be a Sagan of course.. but when i have edited my rider, using Lachi's editor and i save the database as what ever the save game is called, it dosen't change anything when i load the game, anybody know what i'm doing wrong here? |

Your savegame is located in Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2016\Cloud\[your username]. It's called Pro_Cyclist_[number]. You should edit that and save it under the same name.

Do you know how use my editor?
After editing you would have to "create cdb"
I recommend to give a new name so that it is obvious which file you have to load in the game to see your changes. |

I have exported the cdb every time is that the same? If not where is the create cdb button?  and thanks everybody for helping me out here |

I use Lachi's editor v27 currently and I simply open the editor, extract the DB, change what I want to change and then export back to the save.
No problem... apart from finding where I can edit what I'm wanting to.  |

sorry, I meant "export to cdb". I never read it.
But did you create a new file? If yes, then extract that very same file (before you load it in the game) and check if your changes are in it.
If not, then something went wrong while editing.
As far as I know, you can press the Enter key after you entered a value to make sure the the edited value has been registered in the data grid. |

Okay. So I did all that, when I export the database to weekly saves and call it "Sagan" then Sagan should show up in the game when I try to load a shaved game right ? It just don't |

When I look at my folder with saves, it looks like this:

So I guess all 3 files should have the same name for it to work.
It's only a guess though. I just overwrite the normal save and play on. Haven't had any problems in my career and just entered year two. :-)
Can't seem to make it a plain picture, so you have to click on the imgur link. Seems like they updated and removed the 'direct link' I loved so much.  |

The saves are not in the weeklysaves folder (those are backups of your career).
As haasje33 already told you, the saves are here: my documents\pcm2016\cloud\your name\
And you can ignore what Lamba wrote |
