Hopefully it will be the same this year.Though the stages are horrible,as usual, except two.
Pretty much the same route as 2012 tho. I know.
Contador having to attack was what made 2012 interesting. But if Froome rides the Vuelta and has a very good form then we have another bore-fest.
He is human you know. Even Skybots can not keep peak form that long. And he will need good ones. Who can be "Poels"?
Leo König and Inxausti maybe?
Will Landa be riding? He hasn't done too much since his disaster at the Giro. He'll be a very stong lieutenant if so.
This will 3rd. GT for Landa. Don't think so. König has been disaster so far at Sky. Inxausti is good name |

Not sure if i would call 6th at Giro 2015 as replacemnt leader a disaster, he also helped Froome to win Tour 2015. This year he suffered with long term injury since February and thus done nothing. now is coming back to form, lets see what he can do in Rio, he is my bet for top10 in TT, maybe even more. But i agree someone maybe expected a bit more, he should not have choosen money, rather pursue leadership elsewhere...
Still incredible domestique for GT.

Additionally he's few race days due to his injury and and will be fresh for the Vuelta. I can imagine him very we'll as domestoque Nr.1

Landa will ride the Vuelta in a prominent role, Brailsford said. Probably not joint leaders, but will be free to do whatever.
Quintana will ride and is skipping the Olympics. Good choice.
Valverde will decide after Olympics. |

I hope Valverde will ride. It would be a great achievement for him to finish in the top ten in all three Grand Tours in a single year.

why this is joke? ..start and finish that number GT's is far from joke.
You know cycling...if you have read any cycling book you will know what one GT really doing with rider. How it takes all your juices out. Even for domestique. You wont pass mountains easy even you are riding at 100th. place.
Do to that 15 times (is that last number?) row ..every year 3 times. It is fucking far from joke. |

Why? He gets selected because he's a valuable member of the team, just because he doesn't win often doesn't mean he's not doing his job within that team.

Lets take a break from GC guys (sorry Riis, just skip next posts, theese are not about MOAR hills).
What about sprinter field in La Vuelta 2016?
From those who was not in Le Tour, who will attend?
Gaviria, Demare, Bouhanni, Mezgec, Bonifazio, Bennati?
I guess the biggest sprinter stars like Cav, Kittel, Greipel, Sagan are not going?

I just checked PCS: Bennati and Mezgec are listed as going. But instead, I'm going to make one of those bold, nationalistic predictions:
The 2014 Continental Tour Terror of the Year, Magnus Cort Nielsen. Breakout grand tour hilly sprinter!

Kittel should go. He must have terrible feeling after TdF |

I knew you would all react like mad teenagegirls Top-tier baiting material. Anyways, I still find it more impressive to finish within top-10 5 times in a row than what Hansen's has done altho its obviously no joke. |

That would honestly piss me, as i want to see Gaviria as the the sole sprint leader of Etixx, if he is planned to go, i guess he is.
Also Å tybar would have more free role without Kittel...
